You have to pay 50% tax in almost every non tax-heaven country in the world, the rich people know how to reduce it with companies and charities, they dont have to go anywhere. Growing up rich myself and surrounded by some of the richest families in Germany I can say that most rich kids here have a lot more than the average person but also tend to be very private. So very few actually show off their wealth excessively and often try to stay anonymous

If you don't show off too much you're clever because you protect yourself from kidnapping and jealousy. But you shouldn't go in the other extreme to be rich and to live like average or poor because that's stupid too. Enjoy your wealth but be careful.

The rich Germans around me never show off their money. I didn’t even know that my family had money because a lot of Germans are so humble
