It's so cool that Imran took time to thank his own team at BoF. I haven't yet met another team that as supportive as BoF both to each other and also to its viewers/readers. Thank you for the panel, it was amazing

I'd wish to see more women of different ethnicities and backgrounds in future panels- and that necessarily aren't based in the US. A more international point of view.

What is the fashion industry looking for in young fashion students, is one that hits home. Needs its own panel.

This is very motivating, thank you BoF! I would love to hear more people from the industry answering the question from the beginning: "what's your story with Fashion?" !

Not only does this panel lack racial diversity, it seriously lacks diversity in regards to income and financial background. What about normal students who have to work over time to even get into to a fashion course or to get on to the path to where they want to be? without wealthy family or the support to just fly off to another country and start a business like it costs nothing? This is not relevant to many of my generation.

Smh looking at this panel of ppl is the reason why I left the industry. There isn't any diversity to relate too.

This video played automatically after another so I didn't see the date it had been filmed, after listening I thought it had been recorded years ago! I can't believe how backwards and how old fashioned these views are. Kind of shocking to be honest! 'How do you work with children?' Seriously? 'You Tuber as a career!!!????' Yup, and you can be really successful at it! Ooh working in a business for multiple years!!!! Don't tell anyone you're experienced!!! Make sure not to do that!!! Can you imagine a panel of men being embarrassed for having years of experience? DO BETTER BOF.

Well done, but there is a lack of diversity. If your going to touch base on woman & fashion this only represents "white privileged women" in fashion. How are young fashion students going to relate to a one sided panel? BOF is very progressive.. so i'm very disappointed.

Please stfu, do you really think they choose the guests based on skin color?? You freakin SJW. A successful fashion story doesn't have a color.

F F There is no need to cuss me out, to express your "opinion" but reality is if a successful story does not involve color... Than FIT exhibition of the "Black Fashion Designers & Black models" showcasing their struggles and experiences in the fashion industry, would not exist. Check out the story of a fashion designer Ann Lowe and you will understand where i'm coming from.

This is ridiculous. You are using the race card on very educated video. quit being negative and just absorb the information given. We are all here to learn I assume and i assume you're re here to educated your self and better your self as a fashion business person. Oneday one of us might be in that seat. So be positive and stop using the race card. Work and earn that seat.

V M being black is just a skin colour. It's not even black it's brown. Make this to inspire you to become an influence in the world.

misssugacoco black people have tens of thousands of years of history so no its not just a color. this is the type of ignorance I'm trying to avoid. my god read a book.

Totally agree. As black women we are very under represented in the fashion industry. Most of the conversation around black women has been around modeling and not at the business side.

How about you stop being just a black person /African American and be a designer and earn that seat. Did you ever think of that. Fashion knows no color. Make something people want and need and become the icon. with that said it's easier said than done. WELL DO IT !!
