If we made life better for the population and people where aloud to live a descent life making a good wage you wouldn't have to repair prison's. No one would want to go to prison with life being so good on the outside. I mean I know it won't stop all the crime. But I bet it sure would put a good dent in the crime Waves. Let's think about helping people out of poverty instead of building places to store people. Ya I know it's a nice dream!

It’s easy. They hire Bop staff that don’t know shat about facilities and maintenance. Most times they hire within and hire people that don’t even know about electrical, hvac and other stuff. They hire who they want and who they like but that hurts the facility because no one knows how to fix anything. Then they have to contract out wasting even more money when they could have done the repairs in house if they just hired people who know what they’re doing

  • @undercover1968ru

The institutions in facilities ( maintenance) staff come in at 730am off at 4pm during that time because of inmate accountability getting tools from tool room 2x a day and returning then 2x a day and inmate movement they actually only have like 4 hours a day to actually make repairs and many of these repairs are because of inmates tearing things up why because they can
