Good answer from Emilia Clarke, good follow up response from Jai Courtney, definitely popular with the ladies. That interviewer was a bit of a Jack ass from beginning to end of that interview though!

Little bum Arnold himself wasn’t in it but the T-800 was. That’s what entertained me and the movie was dark like the first one was.

Ben Porter well you saying Salvation is trash is just your opinion. Arnold saying Salvation sucked is his opinion. Plus Arnold should have been told on the interview a lot of people thought Terminator 3 sucked too which a lot of people did but I enjoyed it. That language of yours is an example of what worthless parents you must have that didn’t raise you very good.

The first Terminator is the only one that really matters.

I agree. Most people have T2 as their favorite but the first ones the best. Arnold’s model the most realistic human cyborg was the villain. That’s what makes T1 the best.

MasterBluePrint I personally loved it, it was funny, sweet, and badass at the same time, but i feel that making it a 12a and not a 15 was a bad move, they could have done more with the story if it was a 15

I can't wait to see this movie. I admit I wasn't too intrigued when they first announced it. But after learning more about this film and the endless possibilities of time travel, anything is possible. It's a great concept for the ultimate last, or series of last, film(s).

Genuine Risk No, they don't all have to look like Arnie but that model of Terminator was specifically used for certain reasons which are all explained in each movie. Terminators have 2 'settings' (for lack of a better word). The terminator 'series' (T-800) and the 'skin' used (System model 101). Arnold's appearance was apparently the first system model that could pass undetected as a human. Arnold *is* System Model 101, with every other System Model looking different. System Model 102 might look like Terry Crews, 103 might be Hulk Hogan. This is irreverent though since the 101, Arnie, is the model used. The first movie is self explanatory to why Arnie was used in this case. His particular System Model was the first available to the 800 series, so it's obviously the one they sent. The second movie I'll pass over because admittedly, it's been a while since I've seen the movie and I've forgotten why they specifically used the 101 (though I'm certain it's explained). Terminator 3 explains that the System Model 101 was chosen to infiltrate the human camp and kill John Conner because of the emotional attachment John had to that certain model in the second movie, which could make it easier for the terminator to kill him by catching him off guard. The Terminator model used in terminator 3 was the T-850 rather than T-800, though the system model was obviously the 101. Salvation was the origin of the system model 101 and the T-800. It wasn't really that necessary and the movie isn't regarded as canon anyway, but there's still a reason he's there. Genisys we're unsure of yet since we've not seen it, though it can be assumed that John sends it back in particular, again, from his emotional attachment to 101. Not to mention that the T-800 and T-850 have proven to be reliable, both taking down superior Terminators. Or it's supposed to be the same Terminator from the second movie, which would mean it's sent back for the same reasons. Or if it's the Terminator from the third movie, again, it will have the same reasons. So there's an explanation for 4/5 movies, with the only exception coming from my lack of memory for the second movie (though I'm 95% certain they had a reason). These were also all 'canon' at the time of the movie's release. I'm not counting retrospective reasons.

There are elements I like within this one I mean Emelia Clarke is a huge talent and fine actress in whatever she does, the camera absolutely loves her and no doubt why considering she is a very attractive woman with a very easy on the eye cute look rather than anything forced or over the top. And also in this especially with her and Arnold it seemed their respective roles worked very well together. But - as said by some others of this, problem is how I also see it is they introduced element of time travel and with that, completely giving the whole saga an alternative timeline and changing everything that had gone before. So it was just too much in making it more an effort in itself to even be able to comprehend it all.

Terminator Genesys will always be the best of the franchise for me, but the others were seriously not that bad, I liked 2 and 3 as well, there were a lot of good things about those films.

Had the film been more serious and the trailers not spoiled the fact that John was the villain, the movie would've fared better. Also, they should've put Jai on the same diet as Michael Biehn and given Arnold and Lee-Byung Hun a fight scene similar to Terminator 2. It just seemed like Arnold was marketing material for Genisys and Dark Fate, and too much focus was given to the other characters. He didn't really seem necessary, especially in Dark Fate, because the movie failed anyway.

Say what you like about Salvation, but Anton Yelchin is a WAY better Kyle Reese than Jai Courtney. I think they should have recast him. It would work, because Salvation takes place some years before he goes back, so his age is just right.

It's sad that Arnold is the only passionate. He was the best thing about Genisys

I personally enjoyed all the Terminator movies. I enjoyed Salvation. Did Arnold say T4 sucked because he thought it was a terrible movie or because he really wasn’t in it? I liked Salvation. Arnold himself wasn’t in it but the T-800 was and it was an evil T-800 like Arnold was in the first one. I loved it. Plus Salvation was dark.. Genisys was good but I enjoyed the other 4 more. Now I’m excited to see how T6 Terminator dark fate turns out. Everyone says T2 is the best it was a great action movie but in my opinion the first one was the best. That’s when Arnold the most realistic human cyborg as the T-800 was the villain, he had no friends and no matter how damaged the machine got it kept going either until its mission was complete or killed. Plus the red eyes in the first one Arnold looked spooky more then he did with red eyes in the future movies. Terminator the original all day. Nothing beats the original. Terminator 1 Terminator 2 Terminator 3 Terminator 4 Terminator 5 Now we have to see how Terminator 6 is when it comes out.

I think the 4th movie was ok, the reason IMO why everyone hates it is because they were expecting the Future War that Camerons movies had set up, and it wasnt it was just before the humans lost to the machines and were forced underground, and before they re-engineered the plasma guns the machines used,

This one they turned everything on it’s head and through in alternate timelines and turned John Connor from hero into douche bag villain like wtf, it’s no wonder the ratings were in the toilet. Never mess with a much loved cult classic and expect the fans to just go with it. If it was a stand alone movie not that bad but as part of a franchise going off on a whole new tangent and pretty much dismissing all we’ve been told up till now pisses of your fan base it’s never a good idea to rattle the fan bases cage that’s for sure.

I can’t even recognize Emilia Clarke when she’s Dany.

You know it's gonna suck when your main villain is not even seated for the interview. So my question is, will there even be a main villian? You kno what they say, the better the bad guy is, the better the film. But if there is none...

Arnie you know which ones are good and you know those film's have nothing to with this film

terminator 1 : most artistic movie , introducing love for guns while Arnie uses them, instant love for Sarah and Reese , love scene and sad death of Reese terminator 2 : Arnie - daddy figure for John/ hero, lots of nice lines, less artistic less drama but more blockbuster action thriller, sad death of Arnie terminator 3 : just a filler movie, questionable death of Sarah, love between youngsters, start of apocalypse terminator Genesis: Arnie - daddy figure for sarah this time, confrontation with terminator 1/2 antigonist, cleverly remade scenes from terminator 1 (thank god i chose to watch terminator 1 before this one at the same night) , blockbuster, more emotions for Arnie, less artistic than first one, has less impact than second movie, and also no one dies not sarah, arnie or Reese in other words wet dream for terminator 1 and 2 suckers. If I cried before for Reese death and for Arnies, this time I had happy tears because for first time there was truly happy ending, not artistic one, one that has bigger impact, but more cheesy lovely one :~) Ps I did not thought about clip after credits, it reminded me of this Marvel Formula, current hollywood formula which I do hate, to pick as much money as they can and push creators to make faster job... Only when terminator 1 was pushed James Cameron did spectacular job. I think now to improve they would need to put more artistic scenes like vision of terminator or like that scenes where he cuts out his eye and arm, those imtimate scenes between Sarah and Reese in other words More Emotion, more Imtimacy. more details instead of chase n run n fight n run again scenes

VC YT I didn't see it in 1984 because I wasn't born yet but it's so good to know others like me are out there! T2 was excellent but some people are acting like it's better than the 1st one, which is a masterpiece in my eyes.
