I haven't slept in two days... I haven't been this inspired by a VST in since I bought MASCHINE 10 Years Ago. Wait till you realize how easy it is to create your own chords, or drag in your own samples and midi info. It is absolutely outstanding. It is so well curated. I'd love to meet the team behind the design. Some of these samples maybe nothing but more than samples from their enormous library. It goes to show you the possibilities that many of us weren't even aware could be achieved with only stacking these types of textures and sound design. What will set this plugin from everything else in this genre of VST's would be.... EXPANSIONS! Enjoy... I'm going to play with my Playbox.

it´s a custom-made piece by El Taller Pino. Made of brass components with no finish so it will still age and change color. The inside is made of a 6PX Cassette Player, a vintage machine. The idea behind it is to recycle old tape machines that would otherwise end on a landfill. It has a motor for pitch speed too.

@@schmapps1 It works fine in Maschine :) I was saying I wish it worked in Maschine Plus in standalone mode as a part of the OS. It's so powerful that I would love to be able to reach for it just like I reach for Kontakt itself. It's really powerful and I'd just love to see it's features be more widely usable or integrated. They should have added this to Komplete Ultimate and above, or even regular Komplete and above. I would be willing to give up the stuff in Komplete Ultimate 13 that I never use, if they added this. I probably only use about 20% of the things I got with Ultimate, like the Acoustic Guitar loop or George Duke Kontakt instruments, they could go without a problem, there's actually a bunch of them that are all but useless to me. I would definitely use this. Unfortunately I'll have to wait until their summer sale or Black Friday sale. I'm in the process of building a hybrid setup, and I'm focusing on upgrading my MPC Live 2, hardware synths, and other hardware right now. It would be cool if NI allowed Komplete purchasers to pick between certain things, and customize their choices. I got Ultimate on Black Friday, for a great deal, so I'm not complaining, but if they allowed us to choose things that fit our style, it would be a lot better. If they ever do, hopefully they allow retro sales to change theirs too.

Maybe I am biased because I am used to it, but I am personally fine with it. I don't know what preferences you have but I've read similar comments coming from FL Studio users and I personally find the FL interface to be quite ugly and unintuitive (that's why despite starting with FL I ended up quitting. Ableton's minimalistic design Is quite comfortable to me I am personally fond of the dark theme. I guess Logic looks fine but I am not a MacOS user and I've only used it briefly in school, so I can't say much about it. Pro Tools and Cubase both look atrocious and like they are stuck in 2002. Reaper is getting better with each update but it still looks meh. Can't speak for any other DAW because I didn't use them. I don't know man, I don't see how the competition is doing any better.
