Compton used to be mostly white back in the 50s 60s even George Bush lived there off Santa Fe. Most of the whites left after the Watts Riots era to places like Orange County. They called it "White Flight" the blacks were there and Hispanics in the 70s and 80s and now it's most Hispanics bc the Blacks moved inland
