R.I.P. Angel's Share and Village Yokocho! My two favorite places close AFTER getting through Covid 19. I'm guessing rent hikes to catch up? Both iconic East Village spots are gone after decades in the neighborhood. I live in Queens, no where near, but these were home for me!

It truly is a shame that they closed down, especially after Covid just ended. Would you mind sharing what your staple drinks there were?

Fuck really I wanted to try it out. I wish I would've gotten into cocktails years ago so I could've gone to so many bars that didn't make it through the mandates

This is art. It’s incredible how something as simple as watching a bartender make a cocktail can turn into an experience decorated gracefully by the attention to detail. This was awesome.

All I remember of my visit to this bar was the terrible service. I don’t remember the amazing quality of the drinks that this video portrays. I wish the service was better. If that was the case, I would’ve enjoyed the drinks a lot more. They have VERY strict rules at this bar. And they WILL yell at you if you break their rules. I don’t think the experience was all that ceremonial because our friends and I got yelled at for whispering in an empty bar. We were the only a ones there that night.

Wow that's really unfortunate. I'd rather take my business to the dead rabbit or death in company if that's the case. Better cocktails and better service.
