Same. The Silver Age team has nonexistent merchandise and will probably forever have nonexistent merchandise along with that 80's reboot, sadly. But from the Gail Simone era we pretty much just have to cobble it together out of DCUC Bane and Deadshot, maybe The Long Halloween [DC Direct?] Mad Hatter, and either Mattel's Catman or McFarlane's. There's that Young Justice Cheshire too but it's smaller.

Love this channel. I must say JLU is my favorite line I've collected. Going to Target everyday, trying to hunt down those last few years of figures was fun (and frustrating).Just missing Volcana. Not gonna lie, I've been staring at that last page for quite some time to let it soak in, what could have been. Thanks Scott for keeping this alive for so many years after the show ended.

This toyline defined my childhood, teenage years and young adulthood. It’s so amazing hearing from someone who had such a deep connection to the brand, it makes me genuinely happy to hear how passionate you were about this line because I have also been passionate about it my entire life. Thank you, please keep making videos about JLU, and let’s keep hoping for a revival sometime around, I need that Titans 6 pack!!

As a huge fan of the show and the line, all I can say is thank you for keeping it going as long as possible. I love how we got every member of the league as well as really cool 3 packs like that Toyman/Firefly/Dr. Destiny one.

I loved this line back in the day, and still need a few to to complete the collection. I'm having fun sharing the toys with my son now that he's almost 4! It's fun seeing the line through his eyes, versus me as a guy just out of college when I started buying these. He gravitates to the unique characters, like the "bad gorillas" of Grodd and Ultra-Humanite; Giganta's another favorite, as is a little bat that's "Batman's pet," that I think came with this line… Thanks for sharing the stories Scott. One thing I've always wondered is why Green Arrow's 10" sculpt was so different from the 4.5" one. That was before your time, but I'd love to hear any more stories about JLU!

I was so proud of this line!

I am glad they made J'onn in his true alien form, but I wish it was more accurate and taller. I hope someday we get more figures of his true form again.

Ouch! That graphic at the end of what might have been! The Terry Mcginnis/Inque/Blight 3-pack, and the Blackest Night & Sinestro Corp 6-packs are the ones that cut the most deeply. That Teen Titans set would have been great too. That said, JLU was an amazing line. I collected religiously for the entire run, and I bought everything offered on MattyCollector. I would have kept collecting everything as long as product kept coming, but I guess there weren't too many left like me there at the end. I'm sad the line is gone, but it had a pretty amazing run (thanks largely to you). There aren't very many lines that can match JLU for longevity and character selection.

Truly. I feel like it is an under appreciated line in terms of breadth. So many figures and so awesome. Always glad to hear from a fan of it!

The Twin Talon Superman and Twin Turbo Flash actually did make it out to retail overseas. I purchased a set from a seller in England and I see someone in Italy selling them once in a while. Great video and what a great line it was.

Great video and very informative! I recently started collecting this line and I really appreciate you for having something to do with the line releasing many if not all of the DC characters!

Thank you for keeping the line alive as long as you could, I started collecting it since I was 6 or 7 years old and still do to this day (missing just 4 figures) One quick question, in the graphic at the end, what does PKG in the blue square mean?

That explains the unending Superman, Batman etc. from almost all of the set hahahahahhahaaha I have a lot of doubles LOL. thank you for this video!

Yeah I'mma tell explained it multiple times saying that oh yeah they need to include one for the kids when I doubt that kids are still buying the toys it's mostly collectors I find I always have to question Mattel's marketing.

Love your videos. As a JLU collector I have many questions I'd like for you to address. 1) can you shed light on the serial numbers I see on some of my figures. Is there a standard ? If some don't see SNs , is that a sign that the figure is a knockoff. Speaking of knockoffs, I'm getting loose figures from Hong Kong, and I wonder if these figures are knockoffs or leftover bad runs that folks somehow keep for private resale? And... You talked about the tooling blocks are often used as boat anchors in Asia. It makes me wonder , are the tooling casts used to make unofficial runs sold in an aftermarket ? I'm not sure these are good questions but I was just curious. Any videos you can make about these topics would be great.

Or perhaps a video of figures you always wanted to get to, aside from the lost waves at the end of this vid. Thanks for these videos. JLU and DCUC defined my childhood and created many happy memories, to this day! Thank YOU.

I'd REALLY love to see JLU get the DC Classics Treatment where you go wave by wave.

I remember when the fan collection of Harley Quinn, Bane, and Scarecrow came out I had some hope that possibly there might’ve been a Poison Ivy (which is still long overdue from Mattel, I’m not even gonna comment on the one from hasbro)Killer croc, and clayface (I’m surprised we didn’t get him at all even if his only appearances were in the secret society episode)

Hello again Spector Creative: Just letting you know that i got done with 7 pages worth filled with ideas for new Matty collectors 5'6 inch JLU, Superman:TAS,Batman:TAS, and Batman Beyond toyline figures. With two playsets mentioned and vehicle. Batman:TAS figures i listed are re-issued figures to be remade to look more show-accurate. There's single, 3-packs,6-packs in all except for Batman:TAS line. I included few non-show JLU styled characters aswell. I can name everything off to you here little by little or somehow send everything by email to ya for you to give to your employers to go over. It's 7 pages worth so i imagine it would keep the company busy for awhile again if they go for mass production.

Spector Creative: I got a stupid question. Would/could this toyline resume if whoever owns it had people like fans offer up character ideas from not only the JLU animated series toyline, but perhaps suggest characters for redo or make new ones for like 5 to 6 inch figures again that maybe would look better with acceries old lines did not have. Like the bigger figures of right now? Know what i mean? Better sculpt/repaint of heads,clothes,etc. For a Superman: The Animated Series line and Batman Beyond line with more villains, supporting characters. Like earlier i said, a Fortress Of Solitude Playset for Superman figures would be a must have. Probly a bigger sized Watchtower more similiar to the animated series. May cost more but die hard fans will buy it for themselves and their kids. Ive made custom figures from the toylines so i could give input on how to maybe make different characters possible from the shows and from the comics themselves. Just giving ideas to ya cause i got about every single figure from the toyline from Batman:TAS to JLU. Loved all the shows and never wanted the series to end just like these figures. Good talking to ya.

Spector Creative: So you were involved in alot of these figures being made in the JLU line? Like Colored collected Booster Gold? I remember sending email of ideas for figures they were asking people for what they wanted. I remember asking for figures of Superman: TAS style Aquaman, Amanda Waller, The Thanagar invasion 6-pack only that it didn't come with a Thanagar soldier i thought would be nice to include so fans could maybe slowly build up a army. And Kalibak, Darkseid from Destroyer episode, Parademons from Superman:TAS, Toyman, Flash villains, Cheeta, and i knew they probly wouldn't go for it but supporting characters like Jimmy Olson,Perry White from Superman:TAS, Dan Turpin,,etc. I never wanted this toyline to end man! cause they could've redone or do characters from both Batman:TAS & Superman:TAS in 5 inch figures. They can still do it i think maybe since they've come out with the bigger figures. Not only that but come out with a Fortress Of Solitude playset of Superman:TAS and perhaps The Daily Planet playset and Darkseid's throneroom set? Imo, i thought the Justice League Watch Tower was lil too small,etc something like that compared to what is seen on the show. Im sure it was like that to make it cheap for buyers. But ive seen playsets bigger that costed more because they were better. Like the 80's G I. Joe Cobra Terror Dome playset and USS Flag ship and Power Rangers Command Center. I like others custome make characters from Justice League Unlimited show and other animated shows and comics to expand the universe as a hobby and people love my work and i loved other people's work who i thought were better. The Hourman figure was a 100% repaint of the Atom with a softgoods hood and cape. Very inexpensive to do.

Oh I would have loved that Secret Six pack.... Frankly I'm quite devastated, the team's not relevant now and the chance anyone tries to make figures of the characters who've never gotten one ever [like Scandal Savage and Ragdoll] are dreadfully slim. 😬 I've tried my hand at customizing a few, though. But action figure parts aren't cheap if you're just an individual. Also not thrilled with the prices that animated Static is selling for now, but such is life I guess.

Wow I didn't get Lobo as a kid because I wasn't old enough for his comics if only they realized kids didn't care

Question to any JLU collector: I know that the question came in a pack with flash and wonder woman. I was recently given a three packwith The Question, Batman, and superman. The card and everything looks legit, but when I look online on Checklists this combination is never mentioned. Could this mean it is a bootlegged toy?

This honestly looks more like a wishlist, I mean 2012 was the final year of JLU if I remember right and we got some of those figures. Some of the 3 packs are really cool but the 6 packs are kinda meh. I always wanted more figures from the shows, Luminus was a huge one that annoyed me he would have been easy to make and completed the "team" of escaped prisons from the Dr Destiny episode. Mr Myx was another huge one I feel we should have gotten, I loved the line but sometimes I look at all 3 of the Super Powers figures, Samurai, Apache Chief and Black Vulcan and dream of giving up those 3 figures who never appeared in the show for any 1 character who did ! Morgan Le Fay, Circes, Mr Myx, Luminus, Stompa, Granny Goodness anyone from the show.

The Lobo story is just dumb Warner Brothers. just like how they ruined Justice league movie.... having said I love the shot at the end with the toy box. The irony is a lot of the JLU collectors will have the similar toy box filled with Batman and Superman figures..... that hybrid concept was frustration for collectors.

Well I am glad Lobo has a full green light now for all toy lines!

I hated this toy line. I was so disappointed in what a small scale they were and generally poor quality. Half of them couldn't even stand up and they looked so cheap all being the same body but with a different paint job. No detail sculpted on the body. I had wanted a JLU toy line to go with the Batman TAS line from Kenner and of that quality.
