That custom ironwork is goals, I'm no welder but designedbyai came through with fresh virtual landscaping looks for my pad.

the architect was brilliant...i am 72 and have lived around the world, seen a lot...be proud that you have preserved such a beautiful artwork for those to come...

This house is stunning! It makes me happy they have preserved so much of the original design. How fortunate they are to share this space.

At the start I wasn't sure about the near sparse interior but by the end I felt very relaxed watching it and noticing the beauty of the architectural details he spoke about. I can only imagine how serene they must feel living there. Beautiful!

The neighborhood is a dream and the home is absolutely exquisite. Every detail from the floors to the pocket doors are perfection, this may be my favorite home I've ever seen!

The exterior of the home is enchanting. Even though the interior design is extremely simple, I was hit that the lack of art very much makes one’s eyes roam to the beautiful and intricate trim work throughout the home. The only off-putting area was the dining room. The table and chairs looked way too much like an office conference room for my comfort. Finally, I wish the home could have been showcased last or this December. The beautiful Norwegian snowfall made me wax nostalgic for the holidays!

Espen is clearly so thoughtful and shows great respect for the history of his home. I love how they even painted the kitchen with the type of paint they used back in the early 1900s.

It’s too simple for me but I see what they were going for and can tell they love the house … that’s what makes the warmth in my opinion. Beautiful restoration.

I'm generally not a fan of minimalistic interiors but wow in this house everything is so well rounded with the different types of wood that it seems so very cozy nonetheless, I am in awe

In Norway, if you rent out less than half of the space in your primary home, the money you earn from renting is not taxed. Many people take advantage of this by creating small apartments in their basements. This rental income helps them pay off their mortgage gradually, which is what Espen was talking about.

This house is beautiful, everything flows so well and it does not look overly ostentatious but you know it is well built.

Pristine white in the winter and indoors (except for mahogany paneling, etc.), lush green outdoors in the summertime--stunning!!!

That staircase is a thing of beauty

Love the house Espen very minimalistic, so much so you wouldn't think anyone lived there. That kitchen was supper empty not a kettle.. cookie jar.. spice rack..I was thinking your white picture in the kitchen, you could put some warm lighting behind it would look nice at night, nice glow coming from the sides. And you have to do something with the top floor and basement seems a waste of space .. Games room ? .. cinema ? .. But heyyy thanks for showing us round.👍

Wow!!!!! What an incredible home! I would love some art, but it's their minimalist vision and is beautiful. I did feel the upstairs landing was amazing , with its lines and arches and staircase and light fixtures. It really didn't need much. But yes that large wall would look wonderful with a piece of artwork. Even something simple like grays, taupes, ivory. That 3rd floor space was gorgeous! Yes a gym would be perfect up there. Just a perfect guy pad.
