No Joke, this was one of the *BEST* home tours I have ever seen. She's so lovely and loved how she designed the entire house. Her children are very blessed to be living in a home like that, I pray they turn out down to earth and grateful for what they have like mum.

I dont like this house because the Kitchen is Squeezed and Tiny- and it has No Island and not enough storage.Also there is no big outside Garage that can hold at least 3 cars and a place for storage. The garden is too small and there is no separate study room.The house is also on one floor and would prefer a 3 storey bungalow with Good views of the surrounding

I’ve been a fan of hers for nearly a decade now. This is a really nice opportunity to see her entire home vs the bits and pieces we get from social media. Thank you Sophia for allowing us into your home. It was such a treat to see!

This is a great tour. Initially feeling the AD vibes, but coming from an interior designer, you get so much more detail than someone just vaguely talking about each room. Would love to see more of these, maybe even a series where Sophie takes you through some of her previous projects! Awesome content.

@@goldenboyi1989I don’t know what you mean. The kitchen is open concept, and has an island right in front of the fridge? They probably didn’t show the garage, if there is one. The house is at least two stories, and there is a separate study, it’s labeled “Study” in the video.

The perfect combination of great taste Comfort and nice quality of living .

Usually large Estate homes are cold but every room in this home gives me a sense of cozy and warmth. Love her style of decorating and the ‘art work’ is stunning.

Even though this is only attainable to the 0.1%, we are lucky to see and experience this and inspiration for ideas to implement in smaller spaces. Lovely presenter and personality and lovely home. 100% with you on the thick bead spreads.

What an amazing home! Beautiful taste, you can not only tell a family lives in there, but it’s their personality that makes it so appealing. Also, loved the way you did the “interview” during the tour, Tom! Really brought us viewers to the house.

I really enjoyed this home tour. Absolutely informative and insightful from a designer and home owner perspective. This is probably the only home I have seen of this proportion that still managed to feel homey and that I feel I wouldn’t change anything in. I also really loved how she played with colour throughout the house whether it was natural or artificial, it still did what she intended it to do. Very clever! Sophie is my favorite interior designer and I love how down to earth she is!

Quick suggestion Sophie. The comment about having a full open glazed shower cubicle. In a house your size or any house for that matter. I would suggest installing a water softener. This will eliminate the water marks on the glass cubicle. Hope this helps.

This is the best hourse tour I have ever seen. All the way in Uganda and loving this. I am so inspired, since I can't hire a designer, I have gotten so much knowledge on how these things work. I love tree trunks so much, now, I know how I can elevate that to beautiful pieces to go in a home. I love Sophie Paterson's designs, I've decorated my whole flat using her interior designs and ideas. She has impeccable taste and taught me everything I know about using textures, lighting and layers to liven up neutral tones. A few weeks ago, she posted about trying to support Palestinians in need, and my respect and admiration for her just grew exponentially. She is honestly a true life inspiration (in my dream world where I became an interior designer instead of a medical director 😅)

That old adage "you can't judge a book by its cover" yet holds true. When she spoke of remodeling that beautiful kitchen I thought, oh here we go another pretentious "designer". How wrong was I. This home is exquisitely designed mixing tones, materials, and architectural that mesh together with ease and comfort. Who is this Woman? I waited for the moment where I would say I'd do something differently, then she'd explain the why behind her design choices and I relented, evident of the glass shower scene. Kudos Madam, you are truly talented.

Very professional room tour! I wouldnt say the colors is what i would like to have in my own house, but i cannot help highlighting good explanations she gives which i can listen endlessly admiring. The home and the interior design are beautiful and the colour pallete work really well together. A couple of points: the thumbnail image of the exterior you used on this video is for a property called Shandon and this is a different house. I don't recognise the house but it sounds like Sophie bought it off-plan during the build process so that may account for why I don't recognise it. The staircase is very reminiscent of a Royalton home and the layout also has a very Royalton feel, so if I had to guess and I could be wrong but I think Royalton probably built Sophie's home. Her son's bedroom is such a lovely space and it reminds me of the interior of one of the bedrooms in a property called Kings Chase on the Crown Estate in Oxshott and although I can't be sure, I think Sophie probably did the interior design for that home too. I loved looking around Sophie's house, the interior is gorgeous and its a real showcase for Sophie's talent. Thank you Tom for another great video and Sophie for allowing us to look around her beautiful home.

​@@jeanpe1040 The thumbnail of the exterior is a different property entirely but that house is stunning as well, it's just very different to the house featured in this video. This property shares a lot in common with two homes on the Crown Estate in Oxshott called Clifton House and Reverie House and both were built by luxury developer Royalton, which makes me think that Sophie's house might also be a Royalton property. Search KZread for a Channel called 'Prime Residential' and then look for a video called 'Royalton Corporate Video (Clifton House)' and you will see what I mean.

Sophie is the absolute best. The loveliest person with a fantastic channel. Thanks for featuring her. Stunning, stunning home.
