Many NBA and NFL players have gone completely broke buying extravagant homes as they cannot afford to maintain them. Unless you are at the very top of your profession (Tom Brady, Christian Ronaldo, Tiger Woods, Serena Williams...) you can't afford the upkeep. Try again.
