That place is STUNNING. I have seen so many boring New York apartments, people with money and no creativity or imagination. Obviously Anna Sui would have those things in spades, but this is beyond the pale! I'm DYING over this!!! And to have anything created or drawn by Hillary Knight would be such an honour and so special!!

This apartment is maximalist on crack. Though I'm a minimalist, I can appreciate the beauty of Anna's abode. I also love how she didn't knock down walls for an "open concept" look. There is something to be said about having designated spaces-very Parisian in a sense. Bravo!

@@michellebyrom6551 ample hallways are one of the best features of old NYC apartments. Not only do they break up the space, they are ready space for your own personal art gallery. I'm living in a very open space apartment at the moment and really miss good long hallways.

Her brand is an incredibly authentic, perfectly realised expression of HERSELF. What an accomplishment, what vision, what drive and flair. She's an extraordinary woman and such a pleasure to listen to and look at, wow. I'm biased because her company have been so good to me and when someone impresses me like that they have me for life. A wonder. I wish you well Anna and hope 2023 is a kind and and merciful year to you in every way. Oh and that mural, the fireplace, the red cabinet full of Vogues...what an incredible eye. I love it.

Her rooms remind me of that iconic bedroom in Howls Moving Castle; really beautiful! Tbh I’m personally more of a minimalist myself so this wouldn’t be something I’d choose for myself but I still appreciate and think what she’s done with her spaces is pretty cool.

Her products are like whimsical goth and her house totally represents that. I love it.

OMG! That’s the most beautiful bathroom I’ve ever seen in my life! I love it so much!

By far the most stunning apartments showed by Vogue. Anna Sui has exquisite taste and her choice of objects is incredible.

I love the amount of personal touch she's given to the details of every room. Its like recreating the play ground of the mind in your physical space.

Same I love how it's bounded and I love her creative style.

What I would call a Victorian Exotic concept. Very stunning, mesmerising and almost hypnotising. Although I would get overwhelmed living in this kind of space daily, the whole ensemble is an absolute art and very much reflects Anna’s personal style you see in her designs. This looks like a museum.

I love that she designed the house with so many items that she all loves, and the way she utilizes it makes it clear it is a house that’s lived in. One that’s fashionable AND functional

✨💖✨“We do do the dodo.” I love how she connected with her tiles. And a secret door to a fab library! What incredible treasures she has pulled together. Others will condemn what she has here, which brings to mind the poem “Hector the Collector,” by Shel Silverstein. And maybe “Invitation.” Delightful, absolutely delightful. I would love to just sit in her library, a little talk, a little laughter, a lot of reading. A room dedicated to Helena Rubinstein…. But egad! Mirrors all over the bathroom! I’d have to do my business with my eyes closed! Love Anna Sui, and this glimpse into her personal space gives more meaning to her designs.

She is so cool. Her house and pieces are so ornate and decorative. I love how she appreciates the workmanship and has a story to tell about each piece she has picked.

Your apartment is like an museum everywhere you turn there is something beautiful and interesting, colorful and dramatic. Would love to sit in your library, and read the books and the magazines with that beautiful view. You are an inspiration .

I love how this is a complete rebellion against the modern day trend toward minimalism

I love that each room is unique! Some designers say the entire house has to carry the same vibe throughout but I don't agree. I love how each space is unique and magical. What a lovely way to express all your interests and artistic visions!

I love how she calls it camp and yet it's extremely beautiful and sumptuous. It makes me reconsider the concept of beauty as something that doesn't have to be serious.

I worked in one of her stores for almost 2 years and loved it. Always fun to see what she comes out with next. I still support the brand today.

Every time I hear the name Anna Sui, it's special to me, I was in charge of Anna Sui's alpaca style samples for a while in a company here in Peru I remember working full time with the team on my charge to ship the samples in time for New York Fashion Week 2010 ❤

Wow I thought nothing could top Dita Von Teese's house for me in terms of maximum maximalist interior design inspiration, but this just tops it! Especially because there's a lot of Asian influences and pieces in this apartment, and it appeals to my Asian maximalist old-world soul

So humble and you can tell she genuinely adores every one of these treasures.

This apartment is plush! Consist of so many personal and unique items that simply makes up her personality and style. It’s meaningful and each room has a story behind it! This is art!

wow since young, I have always loved Anna Sui designs but I never thought of googling her, today is the first time I see how she looks like. her house is really beautiful, I can totally see her style in it! I love how she really appreciates design, you can see by the way she talks about each and every detail in her house decor, design and books 🤍

I've always loved Anna Sui. The first time I went to Hong Kong, I went to this department store there, I was just strolling around and I came across her makeup line stall. I honestly wanted to buy some but I was on a budget so I only tried the testers, hehe... I've already known her brand before but have never actually seen her makeup line in the flesh. I was so in awe of the details. They were mostly black & purple. I love pink but Amethyst is my birthstone so I love purple, too. Then I went to an Anna Sui shop and I could only afford a piece of hand towel, lol! I still have it. Her designs are like a gothic Lilly Pulitzer + Betsey Johnson + Vivienne Westwood.

You just reminded me I had an Anna Sui cream eyeshadow that was the most gorgeous shimmering turquoise! And the little plastic pot was ornate. She’s unique and lovely.

I love her style, love her taste, love the colors. That fireplace and the bathroom! It's like a fairytale world.

I normally hate wallpaper but I love her wallpaper and cute little intricate things.

That wallpaper, the butterfly wing paintings, that fireplace, so many incredible objects that I want, that mirror room! So much creativity and art.

Wow I love just how whimsical her place is decorated! It’s so characteristic and I love how there are so many different unique stories for each piece she has but each room feels cohesive

It’s very obvious that she finds these furniture and other creations out of love. She does her own thing and it’s very interesting to see.

Her house is not a surprise - it's so true to the way she designs. A house like this would be too overwhelming for me to live in but I would love to visit it. You could just sit in one chair in one room and spend days looking at and discussing all the things in that one room.

Anna Sui has never disappointed me on coloring. I love her partnership with Japan which offers cute accessories like hand mirrors and cotton pad box.

I love this so much - not everything is to my taste and style, but it's such an incredible breath of fresh air in this series to all the soulless, bland, corporate minimalist designs. Minimalism can be gorgeous when it's done right, but so much of it nowadays is so bland. You can tell she has so carefully curated her apartment with things she genuinely loves, not just things for the sake of having things.

I shared this with my daughter who works in a "high-end thriftshop" charity. At her young age she could appreciate and recognize antiques and is a true maximalist. I did not share this with my obsessive compulsive minimalist friend

This is one of the most magnificent apartments I've seen. Love all the decor and it feels like each interior design decision was intentional and with love. So inspiring. I've done similar things. I bought the townhouse next door and connected it. I turned a bedroom into a summer closet. The main rooms are done in British Colonial chinoiserie with 18th Century and early 19th Century antiques and Baker reproductions.

Love it when people actually bring out their entire personality when designing a space and really make it their own, so fun Also it definitely maximalism but it’s still so calm and just homey
