Inside an Antique Dealer's Vintage Estate Sale Hoard Before It Sells!
How will we ever get this house ready for an estate sale this weekend?! That's the key question in this video, where we show you an old Spokane, Washington antique dealer's home that's full of whimsey and surprise...and a ton of antique and vintage deals!
We're literally uncovering things not seen in years in this house! A 1930s stove hides under a sheet, and what lurks within it? An old trunk offers old clothes...and a nice 1970s afghan. From a fun 1940s buckboard to a 1950s Marx Construction Camp, this house is filled with fun...along with a million little items in categories that are eye-poppingly vast! Cafe ware, post cards, bronze medallions and pins galore, a room full of books, a room full of childhood characters and original Star Wars items make this a place to marvel.
How are we pricing? Any way we can! (No, seriously, there's so much we know we can't price it all.) We're focusing on a safe and easier to shop setup as the house explodes out into the yard, an outbuilding and all over to make sure everyone gets a good look at all the vintage things that are here.
We are excited to get this sale going, and so glad to share the preview with you! If you're in the Spokane area, please stop by and enjoy this fun and unique estate sale...which we are so happy to enjoy with our online viewers too!

I am totally overwhelmed just watching... anxiety level is rising 😳
Wow George. This is quite scary. Don't ever get to this stage where it's unmanageable. We have sorted a couple of houses for relatives and it can be quite daunting. 💖
The scale of that collection made me feel nauseous. I can't imagine the sadness that makes a person spend their life assembling such an unmanageable hoard.
How fantastic is that to have helpers installimg safety hand rails. Shout out to them. 👍💞😊

Wow! This sale is overwhelming. I cannot imagine the amount of work you will put into this sale. Cannot wait to see the outcome. ❤ JoAnn
That stove is stunning! It's pristine! That house is overwhelming! There were so many items and pieces! Getting that estate sale ready was an extreme amount of work! I know you said the woman was an antique dealer but it looks like she was a bit of a hoarder too! How did she get around! 🤯
Wow! That’s a lot of work guys.
That is the estate sale from heaven. I would drive Cross country to Go to That Estate Sale If I Could..WOW
We atarted an estste sale for a family.member a few years ago , first couple of days went well then tempers started to flare . Expenses grew as dumpster delivered and storage buildings were rented . Relationships desentigrated as oldsrers rung their hands in disbelief that their retirement collections were worthless due to low qualilty items they felt would be expensive antiques someday . Even items that might be worth salvage had damage and bad storage issues . In the end , 1/2 went to thrift stores , 1/4 paid for the whole messy process and 1/4 was trashed .( add personal $ for landfill fees ) . Maybe elder apartments with limited storage and a family member with an eye on the checking account would help these type of family breakdowns ....long winded , but lived thru the fiasco .
More power to ya, George. This is a huge undertaking, glad you have some help! Thank you for taking some time to show us. Good luck!
Aww man. Lucky you George. I want to be able to pick thru😮❤
I wish I could go to this sale. I would even love to help you get ready. I live for these kinds of sales.

Hey George! I am just overwhelmed by watching 🤗 Such a hoard of various items to sort thru a lot of time involved. I do not envy you guys. Aww, the wood dog would have been good for Jocelyn’s dog sale 😃 Seems you really need a couple of weekend sales. Good Luck on the Sale!
Wow George I wish I was close…absolutely overwhelming 😮, such beautiful things
You are so articulate! This is my first video of yours to watch and I was so impressed. Great video, thanks for sharing with us.
MY GOODNESS , AND I THOUGHT I HAD A LOT OF STUFF,,, HOLY COW !!!!!
Good evening, George! I have a signed photo of the Cisco Kid. Duncan Renaldo actually came to the hospital when I was born, and gave the photo to mom for me. That 1930s range was in fantastic condition. That was a nice one! Geez! That was a lot of stuff to go through and price! I liked the Mae West glass. I really liked that showcase. Holy Blessed Mother, at the books! I'd be lost in that space for quite some time. Was that a ceramic Bugs Bunny bank, on that top shelf? I would've been all over that cartoon roadrunner figure. George, I would have gotten a bad case of the "vapours", if I had to handle all of that! Kudos to you!!! Thanks for the tour!!! Lots of really interesting things there, for sure.

Duncan Renaldo was at the hospital where you were born? What a great story! Your first collectible, and you weren't even a day old. The Bugs Bunny was just a planter, but a good one. The vapours have set in and I only now am recovering!

You're just too awesome George! What a job you have on your hands!! 💖
Tons of good stuff! Unbelievable job before you!!
This estate sale is amazing with so many treasures. I wish I was able to attend but I am sorry for the loss of your friend 😢.
Wow, wow and wow!
Oh my, I am having an anxiety attack watching this!!! So much. I wanna go to your sale!
So envious George. Wish I could be there!
The postcards!!!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍 I’m a postcard dealer in Arkansas. Wish I could get to the sale and make you an offer for the whole collection. 😢
There is truly quite a bit of stuff there. I would love to come but I live about 3 states away. Happy digging and safe travels. Sell, sell, sell is the word for the weekend. lol Have a great day
Love the way you are calm and collected about this mammoth task - what a mountain to climb Id love to come to the sale but the 3,000 + miles makes it not possible! As an aside I rather like the carpets !

Goodness George! What a fun sale! I Love estate sales like that. Lots of great stuff to dig through ! Wish I lived closer. Florida is very far. Have fun!
You’re all doing such great work getting it ready. Wish I were closer so could come!
Holy Hoarder. Wish I could go.
I help set estate sales and it can be very overwhelming but thrilling at the same time. My best find was a bag of super old marbles and some speakers from the 70's (I can't remember the brand) that the customer said didn't work. Yes, they worked and sold for $1000.
Amazing! Your friend had great taste! Thank you for sharing!
Holy Cow!!!!! So much stuff!
I wish I was closer! Like west coast!wow - what a sale!
BEEN TO JUST ABOUT EVERY THIFT, ANTIQUE STORE IN THAT AREA
What fun!
Fun video George! Thanks for sharing!
Wow that would be an awesome sale to attend. Good luck with it, from Missouri.
Wow George how on earth do you remember all the manufacturers names and dates of all the pieces you are an amazing fountain of knowledge
Wow,thought I had lots of collectibles, nothing compared to this. I am in Midwest would love toshop😮
George, I hope you bought that sign 😂
Oh my gosh...what great stuff. So glad I found you...thanks to Crazy Lamp Lady.
Wow, just wow! I love the oven! My father had went almost identical to it, in his cabin on the Washougal river. It was original to the cabin, & it was in great working order. There was so much stuff in that house. I have mad respect for you & your team. It would be so overwhelming to me, I wouldn’t even know where to start. I love Spokane! My mom was born there & her family had a large homestead there with the most amazing farmhouse I have ever seen! I remember spending 3 weeks there in 1974 (I was 10), when the International World Fair was in Spokane. Great memories, thank you for sharing! 🫶✨

When my in laws passed away, we promised our own children that we would not do that to them. So far we are holding up our end of the bargain. Every year, we go through every out building and room of the house and do a purge. Some things, we just need time to emotionally separate from. @@hard-truthsbetter-than-swe6543

@@banjobandit3270 There was a family in my area where lady home was worst then this and her kids begged her to get rid of it and dont leave the mess to them and she kept ASSUMING it was about money. In the end the place went up in fire do to the hording and the fire department said the place basically was full of kindling. Sad part was the 2 places next to hers went up in smoke and people were hurt. Point is our actions effect others and we should never just assume. Its self centered what she did even from stand people lots poor people could use that stuff ,but she was hoarding it all.
Wow oh wow,,,incredible,,,I agree on the cork frame combo with arts and crafts now. LOL, I had business breakfast meetings at the old last Whistling Pig in Lake Oswego before that area became a new outdoor mall thing which the Californians are doing here in snow country which is so DUMB to me..cutting up our early walking small mall..George this is fantastic as are you.
We’re in California so we won’t be going to your estate sale but it sure is fun to see whatever antique collectors collect ❤😊this was a great fun 🤩 thanks 🙏 the video
O MY WORD!!!! Wouldn't I love to be there? You betcha. It is daunting for sure, and I see so much I would love to handle. Alas, I'm in Florida. Good luck George. 💚

Im glad the work is left up to you and your team. Always good to see your videos. Thanks, George!

There are a lot of different items in that house. What a work to shift everything out. Im wondering, if you find something that you really like. Could you buy it? ❣️
Good luck George and crew. Remember to keep a smile on your faces!!!😂 Would love to be there to help you out. Hope to see you soon.

WOW would I love to be there! So many fun and interesting things to go through. Really enjoy your videos.
03:05 My sister had those sheets when we were kids. The stove is killer; I'd recondition that and use it. My grandmother's was 30s too, and worked perfectly until she died in 1979. Don't get one if you're scared of pilot lights. There's all sorts of stuff in that house that makes my fingers itch. I hope y'all give quantity discounts for people who buy cartloads!
Thanks!
