Pavlo! I’m currently in Ukraine doing some humanitarian stuff, love the country and people, so welcoming. I am honored to be able to help Ukraine. One of my favorite things is the Wog gas station markets/food, it is so funny to me that you can pretty much buy a full meal there and the food isn’t actually to bad! You should do an episode on it 😅. Maybe I’ll run into you while I’m here! Stay safe😊

@Heather Thompson I would just like to. see the things they sell in there. Like.the wooden fermentation buckets, and metal water buckets. Also to see if their stores are getting like ours, full of Chinese junk. I really love Ukrainian village life. Everyone lives much simpler then we do here, and to learn some of the old traditions of making things. Like cheese and other canned goods they made.

For example I spent 6500UAH/person on food in December, and 1000UAH in Macdonalds lol :) and 4500UAH for public utilities (2700UAH heating of them). If you willing to go restaurants or beer add additional 200$

I think that Canada is a very expensive country, doesn't it? Before the war, I lived in Kyiv, and now I live in Poland, and here some goods are even cheaper than I had in Ukraine. However, services are more expensive, and utility bills are many times more expensive. The price of electricity is especially upsetting and it continues to grow due to the global processes of the rise in the price of energy resources...

First: Its good you support and buy from that little market so they also can survive. Also good you compare prices before februari to now, and as you say it can seem cheap but must be in relation to Ucraine salary or pension. Hope you can stay warm this winter.

I fully understand your situation as the War immediately effects everyone in Ukraine. With luck when its over prices may go back to something normal again. Here in Australia prices have also increased ridiculously. Believe it or not they also blame the War!

Cool to see the inside of the store. I'd love to try the Sour Sop tea. I believe in the healing power of that fruit! Blessings from Canada. PS, I'm so glad that you will be part of NATO one day soon, and Russia will not be able to bother you anymore. Hang in there. Peace is coming.

Pavlo Interesting video. Prices have risen here in Canada also. Depends upon the item, anywhere from 6 to 20%. Gasoline has started to fall but rose sharply this year also. Seems everyone has experienced inflation since February 24th. Regards Jennifer and Duncan from Canada

I love seeing grocery stores around the world!!!!!! The individual Capri Sun juice bags on the shelf was interesting. It's like the whole store has 1 box and trying to make them last. I bet they cost 5 cents each there.

So instead of 20c for the small can of cola back when you were there 4 years ago it was 10c. Wow. Prices around the whole world have gone up in the last 4 years. We can not live in the past any more. I am sure in Walmart where you are prices are like they were in 2018.
