We used to do the water break in back in the early 90's. It's pretty cool that this is still being done.

I did a Slash all in pink hoping my wife would take interest in the hobby but no luck. Its pretty and a shelf queen

I could drive oval tracks all day. One big drift.

I love the pink. My paint scheme is mostly Hot pink, pearl pink and pearl purple on all my cars. Even love to run pink wheels on all the cars I can get them for. Really wish someone was still making pink Truggy wheels....

You can use pink rit dye on white wheels

Back when I first started rc's in 7rh grade out hobby shop guy taught me about water breaking in a motor works well

The pink just pops 👍

I use a tqi with bluetooth module for the water break in so i can just set throttle trim on the traxxas link app

What parts are needed to get the dish wheels to fit? Fronts aren’t a problem. Rears don’t seem to want to fit right though

We use to do that with brushed motors back in the 90s when we ran hard silver brushes with red and green springs. With those brushes you will get a extra 5000 to 6000 RPMS

Hell yeah!! Looks super sweet!! Really looking forward to seeing this series. I originally got into rc cars because I'm a huge left turn fan. However, since all the oval action is two states away, I got into offroad racing. Still love it, still love all things rc. Maybe I can get some friends to do oval Onroad stuff 🤔 🙃 Great video Mark!

If you're doing this all the time, just build a 4-cell nimh pack. The pack puts out 4.8V, which is ideal for motor break-in and no need for an esc and radio 👍

Bandits are cheap fun. - Even the brushed cheapo 2WD version. I bought my first Bandit in 1998 and still have it.

Last night I went and watched my first wingless sprint car race (full scale) and now I want to race dirt oval 😂

So it’s now heavier then before. Now the weigh is low. Also slower. So is it faster or slower on the track ?

Can you buy a vxl Bandit and just put brushed in it or would that be against the race rules? The xl5 is missing so much stuff that it's not worth it.

How come y’all don’t set one of the front wheels back further and put a wider wheel on one side in the back to stagger it so you can roundy round faster like the real outlaw cars do? Just curious

The body is a kit you put together. Mark has a prior video that shows this. Took me about 30 mins to put the body together.

I've upgraded my Bandit with a lot of the same pieces as yours, but I used 3rd party components that are great quality, but less than half the price of actual Traxxas components. They are ridiculously overpriced.

That truck is really cool looking! You should almost auction it off and donate the money to a breast cancer charity! Just a thought, I think that would be pretty sweet and I’m sure with your following you would get a good amount of money!

Learn to drive with a looser rear end and drift it more. Can go way faster.

You did a decent job with the sprint car the extremely expensive custom works cars have looked ugly since i eas a kid and most were derect drive piece of shit
