My boy loves the Star Wars Lego games. He's 9 and hasn't watched them yet so you can imagine what happened in his little brain when Lego Darth cut Lego Lukes hand off and told Lego Luke the shocking news! It was adorable

Never seen that tip for tape on the underside for the drips, how simple but effective! Can't believe I never thought of that - I'm absolutely using that on my next flood coat 👀

It worked great! What I didn’t show was that every 10 mins I would clean up the drips with a foam brush. After about 1:30 I pulled the tape.

You can also try liquid latex. Especially good for non-straight bottoms (phrasing). I learned that tip from ArtsyMadwoman.

By far the best Star Wars property has got to be the Clone Wars series. That show added so much my love of Star Wars was just amazing!

I love the mandalorian…. And my daughters turned 12 in March and one of them instead of using her money on herself she bought me a grogu lip balm bc she knew it would make me smile she is so kind!

Auction it - don't sell it for a fixed price. Let the market decide what it's worth.

The original will always be the best. It blew my mind as a 4 year old, and I still enjoy watching it 46 years later

Jonny! Turned out stunning this did. My favourite part is you hiding behind Bob during the flattening bit, I felt that fear 😂

I thought that I was the only person in the world that superglued an eye shut! I did it as a child, too! Lids closed, lashes removed, ER visit, and I had to wear an old man patch for a week while the glue broke down. It was tugged free by the highly amused and slightly creeped out doctor in the ER and no one involved has ever recovered from the trauma.

Empire strikes back for sure. Nothing beats an original just like your work! Yes graphics are better these days but to accomplish what the did a lifetime ago with the limited tech is amazing. It’s kinda like the dark crystal…. Talk about labors of love! So glad you get to do what you love

Star Wars Rebels is my favorite next to The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. The table is sweet. I like that the deathstar 2.0 can rotate

Thanks, Joe! I'd have to say my favorite was Clone Wars. It was really nice seeing behind the scenes of the war, and Ahsoka Tano is probably my favorite Star Wars character ever. I'm really enjoying the current Mandalorian season, though... it's really fleshing out Madalorian culture in a way that we've never seen before.

If I had the $6000 spare, I'd be so tempted to buy that table, but I think the first thing I'd do is take it apart...... sorry 😳 What I'm thinking is that I'd hate having another flat surface that would just end up with projects all over it so I'd never be able to see the whole table. It would probably also end up getting scratched by whatever project I'mcurrentlyworkingon. I'd attach the table top to the and hang the death star from the ceiling so I could aways see both and appreciate their beauty. I would keep the base in a safe place so I could reassemble it if I wanted to use it as a table. My favourite part is definitely that death star 😊👍👍👍👍👍

Thanks Joe! Favourite Star Wars property? Probably the Rogue Squadron series of novels, initially by Michael A. Stackpole. As an aside, the X-Wing game you got the models from is a miniatures game (though it does use a lot of cards), allowing you to dogfight with Star Wars fighters.

Love the table. Great work (thanks Joe). I’ve honestly enjoyed all the Star Wars stuff but the one that gets me the most excited is Mandalorian. They’ve done such an amazing job, plus they use the Unreal Engine to render the environments and that’s the same engine I use daily to make games so bonus points.

If you had way way way more time and patience, you could probably have painted the explosion on at different layers like the people who paint (what look like) 3D fish and dragons in resin, but even with the paint being only in one layer this looks stunning.

Hello from East Texas! I know I'm late to the party but I'm an avid reader. I love the expanded universe, especially Vector Prime. It was written by my favorite author R.A. Salvatore and omg did he do something shocking and beyond brave. Not gonna spoil it if you haven't read it. Table is fabulous!

My favorite star wars will always be the first one with the race! It's the first one I saw and it brings me back to my childhood when I look back at it. Keep up the video, super job!!

I doubt Johnny will read this but I can't stop myself from leaving this comment. So I recently met my twin flame/soulmate, she is from Luther. So anytime I fear about OKC, my ears perk up for obvious reasons. So I am happy to watch this channel since I'm getting into woodworking and you're from OK. Then you go and tell your super glue story. I have one that is very similar. When I was 3 (1984),I found my father's tube of super glue. The cap was super glued and I couldn't get it open, so I did what any dumb kid would do... I used my teeth to open it while twisting the tube of super glue and it busted open and the super glue went straight into my right eye. I went to the ER that day but I don't really remember the visit, I just know that they used some sort of liquid that reduced the tackiness and they were able to remove the glue without losing my eyelashes. I remember the glue coming off in one piece. Lol I like coincidences like these

My favorite movie is the original. I am old enough that I saw it when it came out many, many years ago. I remember standing outside the theater (one screen) with my geeky friends. We had to wait for the first showing to let out. It was a long wait, and totally worth it.

So, so cool!! I am also a middle aged mega Star Wars fan who has a wife that constantly shakes her head at my geek obsession! Favorite Star Wars is probably Empire Strikes Back or most recently Endor and Mandalorian. Clone Wars anything is also amazing! Just trying to get into being a mediocre woodworker and I'm loving the videos!!

Part of Andor was filmed at a Hydro Electric Dam in Scotland that a friend of mine worked at, he told me Star Wars had been filming there like 2-3 years ago so it was great to finally see it. Best Start Wars movie is Empire but my favourite of the recent works is definitely Rogue One

Rebels… love it it ties in and connects so many different eras and stories

You could make a 2x4 frame around your flimsy mold to hold it in place until everything dries, then you won’t have the wonky edges

Rogue One. It is like the rug at Dude's apartment. It really ties the room together.

Holy crap, how have I not come across your channel before?! That table is awesome, so much so that I had to drag my son into my room to see the finished product. We are strong in the Force in my home. I’d have to say I’m fascinated with the newer Thrawn trilogy by Timothy Zahn. He’s a great character with lots of depth and he was great in Rebels. All of the new series are amazing, and like you, I am just happy to have new Star Wars to watch with my boys. I also love how you finished the video with seagulls 😂😂

Hey Jo I'm from Maldives, my favourite is rogue one which was shot in my home island, i helped bring the stars from the boat to land on my little dinghy. That was great. One of the best experience of my life. great work on that table, it's beautiful. If u ever visit Maldives please let me know I'll personally show you around, if u visit local island. My dad hav a little workshop making simple things from wood, he is retired now, I'm thinking to start a project of a table and u are gonna b a big help. I've learned a lot from ur videos thanks for that, your videos hav a very home feeling. this looks sick as balls, as an 80s kid star wars empire strikes back is an alltime nerd fave of mine.... also love andor my self due to the fact i live about 45 min drive from one of the filming locations cleveleys (ep.7) i believe the cafe used for the scene has still got the writing on the wall of the building
