Building with NO PLAN

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

He was my most difficult/worst customer...I only had one week to build something for Modustrial Maker. No plan, no materials, the dullest tools...they said it couldn't be done, but in one week can I build the impossible? I built a storage cabinet/bookshelf and made live edge slab walnut doors with black epoxy. Wing it!

Ooooh, love the black instead of white epoxy. That’s really an excellent design idea using the slab for the doors for a storage cabinet.

It is a very good book for beginners as well as for those that are already into kzread.infoUgkxTNB_zFBSnTo_O1PqfVUwgi7ityw0JlKt A very good basic ebook to keep as a reference too. I like it and the way the subject matter is presented. It has humor and that helps with the reading.

Man what a great place. First of all, credit to the video and video editing, I do love these speedy up vids where all the necessary things are showing. You guys are aces, Jonny, of course by birth, and Mike, by luck, but nevertheless true craftsmen The result is so beautiful, those highlights really makes all the difference. Thanks for sharing, hope we can have a peek (like photos or a small video) when the place is finished BTW - ALWAYS TILL END !!

I love black with wood, but many modern homes use Aqua for decoration. Why not try that but a very light shade. Maybe translucent and make the table with lights underneath to shine through. Use those little twinkling lights that last forever before you have to change a watch type battery? I’m sure you can find something.

Dude - I really like the overall color combination and the maple you brought in the on base. Though (needless creative ideas only - your build is great as is!), I think extending the back leg higher on the cabinet, and maybe introducing a 7-10 degree angle into that front leg to lean back toward the back leg would be a sweet look as well. Structurally some joinery might need changed, but it would have really pushed the modern vibe into the next level - I think. lol Anyway, fun video man!
