@Jamie Vee In fact not. Christopher Robin is real person and nothing show that he has any history with the mental issues. All those character are based on basic emotion, what is quite common practice in child entertainment. And that most mental sickens are coincidentally related to emotional state is unrelated. At least Fairy Odd Parents has some logic behind it.

Ash never ages is due to the fact that he saw Ho-Oh at the beginning of the journey. The Ho-Oh's powers are the person who sees it whatever age the person is forever that age.

Here's a theory: SpongeBob gets paid more than Squidward. I loved (and still do) Inspector Gadget both as a kid and as an adult...My theory about Dr.Claw was and still is is that Claw is Gadgets evil twin and they were separated at birth,thats why they never show Claw's face.Gadget was originally human he was just given bionic implants making him more machine.

@alic seprin Except that mean nothing. Studios quite commonly lie about that, as they don't want to rise controversies or simply are unaware of author intend. I'm not saying that it is true, but it is still better then 90% of those here. It at least has some real logic behind it.

Yes Inspector Gadget... that's an awesome theory. If only Gadget's right arm wasn't robotic, Claws right arm we'd assume was in some claw glove but imagine if it was robotic... The only part of Claw that wasn't human whilst Gadget had the original human arm. The entire series could have been about Claw getting his own arm back but Gadget also attempting to harvest more parts for his creator to become more human! Matt... We could write this!

The theories do make a lot of sense when you take the time to analyze the characters in an adult fashion or mind set. Was this another way to hide things in plain sight like quite a few of the Disney Movies and art work.

I know it's only because they're both played by Don Adams, but I always considered Inspector Gadget to be Maxwell Smart's brain in an android body after Smart reached the end of his natural life. Same skills, similar occupation, similar relationship to the authority figure, same bumbling mannerisms.

In one of the first episodes of the 5th gen, the narrator says that Ash is still 10 years old. So that might put a damper on the coma theory. Also Giovanni does have a son. It’s Silver from the 2nd gen series but you never see him in the anime. As far as I know at least

There's a number of reasons I don't buy the Pokemon theory's. One cuz I don't bother with that. Two? While I get the "never ageing past 10" thing raises questions? He does get a deeper voice and maturity signifying puberty! *But the biggest thing that kills it me? If ash is dreaming this all up in a coma.. WHY CAN HE NEVER WIN IN HIS DREAMS? Seems like the only place he CAN win!*

Plus even initial claim has no sense. If he was shocked by Piachu then how Pokemon's can be creations of his mind? Plus nothing really prove that anything was normal before that event.

Hey Matt have you heard about the Recesse theory? The theory is playing there are actually dead and their spirits are playing around. There are even back stories to how most of the characters died

It seems every fantasy cartoon can be explained Away by a dream or coma. Personally, I like the theory that when Ash saw the Ho-oh in the first episode of Pokemon. A legendary pokemon whose pokedex entry says (That it grants one wish to those who can spots it) That he made a wish to stay young forever so he can be able to continue his adventures forever. Because let's face it, we do not see much adults being poke-trainers.

Dexter's Laboratory reminds me of my older brother- he blew up his chemistry experiment so many times. Pinky &The Brain was great!

I like that one, though there is few episodes what make it unlikely.

I disagree with the Fairly Oddparents theory. I doubt it because 1. The show has gone on to produce so many episodes that they've also produce specials, movies, and even crossovers with Jimmy Neutron. Plus, I'm pretty sure he now has toe share them with a girl because there aren't enough for all of the godchildren in need. How do you explain that? Mind you, that isn't a rhetorical question. As for the Count VonCount theory, there are a few possibilities he consumes a blood substitute like Dracula in Hotel Transylvania, he feeds off of donated blood like in Daybreakers, he feeds off of animal blood like in My Best Friend is a Vampire or Twilight. In fact, he's most likely a *living* vampire, like in My Best Friend is a Vampire because that would explain his daily appearances. My point is not all vampires are predators; they have options.

Tiny Toons tried to replicate the multi-layed meanings of the original Looney Tunes, and I think for the most part succeeded. They heavily hint in many of the shows that Pinky is quite smart. Also many geniuses have been quite eccentric.

i really like that pokemon theory, it explains so much and i like the idea of there being more story driven things in that series

The Sesame Street one is made even creepier by the fact that I actually know someone who has been on Sesame Street.

Out of all these theories, the Pokemon Coma Theory is one of the dumbest most senseless ones. I'm not just saying this as a Pokemon fan, I'm saying it as a writer. A setup like that would do absolutely nothing for a good story. It sounds more like someone seeing a few small connections (which are there in the early episodes) and trying to connect them to everything else. Which makes less and less sense the further you go along. Yeah, Ash was electrocuted by Pikachu. But then how the heck would he have knowledge of people like Jessie, James, Brock, or Misty? If this is all some coma dream then Ash would only be able to see the faces of people he already knows. Just just how our minds work. Probably a pointless rant, but it annoys me when people swear this theory is correct when it wouldn't even make a good or interesting story. No coma dream theory ever does.

A more "believable" theory is the one about Pokemon taking place after a huge war. One of the trainers you fight, Lt. Surge, makes a comment about lightning Pokemon saving him during the war. There are very few adults seen anywhere, and the ones you do see are either very old, criminals or have jobs related to the military. Ash and pals just roam around the countryside with no supervision. His father is gone, and his rival is an orphan. It's a stretch, but more thought was put into it than a theory ex machina.

The problem with the Pinky and the Brain theory is there's an episode called "Pinky's POV" where we see everything in Pinky's eyes, and it's definitely not genius

Needed more explanation and backstory for each, but it was a good episode, considering I was familiar with a decent number of them and figured more detail would have helped out a lot.
