I think it actually plays into his favour. The 30th to 40th moves are a lot like rapid games due to the time control. Gukesh does not have the mentality of “I have to do it now”. Sometimes, experience does not equate better. Being fresh can be better for some people. Even fabi said he performed well in his first chess candidates when he was clearly under-prepared.

What I liked about Gukesh is the respect that he gives the game. After the game was finished, his opponent didn't care and he left whereas Gukesh took the time to put the pieces back on the board
