Vidit's prep looks like a disgusting creative line from Ganguly. Gave a flavour of Anand's WC2012 games against Gelfand, which I barely remember. Does the opponent dirty with tactics.

Agree with you about the engine lines but beyond a point, the practicality of play by both players matters since they don't have access to engines once they are on the board.

Look at Dubov he does calisthenics, carlsen plays football and basketball. Even Vidit can do good pull ups. One who's better physical shape will bring wonders to the game in this modern era.
