V for Vendetta, Warrior was the weekly mag name, similar to 2000AD. Moore's Captain Britain was in Warrior too. Looks like Farmer inks on Keown Hulk

You don't have to make a video about it , I just thought you might enjoy looking at some of this stuff .. BWS in Savage Tales , illustrated a Robert E.Howard poem entitled Cimmeria , it's like 8 pages or something ( Conan is carrying an Elk across his shoulders and is attacked by a Wolf ) ..you'll like it . Here is a .. " Hidden Gem " that you might want to look at as well .. It's a B&W Marvel Magazine like Savage Sword called .. Kull & the Barbarians . they only made 3 issues .. there is a variety of Artists .. Ross Andru inked by Wall Wood , Neal Adams , John & Marie Severin , Roy Krenkel , Howard Chaykin ( Red Sonja ) , Gil Kane . I know that issue # 2 has a Solomon Kane story called .. the Hills of the Dead .. drawn by Alan Weiss & inked by Neal Adams , that is just incredible , & there is a Wrightson " Fronticepiece" ( splash page ) of Solomon Kane that is one of my favorite Wrightson drawings , he's standing over a " Demon " that he just " ran through " . .. Like I said , you don't have to make a video about it , I thought you might enjoy looking at it .

Rich, I hardly ever comment on any videos, but I gotta do it this time: I really appreciate this and many of the other videos you do! I love your passion for the medium - you have some really great content that’s both very well-informed but not pretentious. You have a great energy and that’s both Keep it up - it’s infectious! thanks! I try. I was watching some older videos from my channel last night and felt I for sure need to stay focused. I am casual with these but for sure the clock is ticking when a video starts and you want to make sure to keep people engaged in the topic and not me rambling hahaha

@@RichardFriendartist Hey Rich, i think you're perfect! I gues some might say shorter vids get more clicks but it doesn't matter to me, i watch what i can. like i'm pretty sure 10 minute dives get more clicks, how insane could it get, daily doses of 3 minute dives. But you're great and i am fan and i am jelly of your greatness. I trust in Rich.

Great video Rich , lots of different styles . Estaban Maroto did that Conan style character, he is called DAX , for Eerie magazine , but also did a character called .. the Spook , lot of stuff for Creepy & Vampirella as well . I remember a Red Sonja story he drew , inked by Neal Adams .. interesting combination .

@@RichardFriendartist I still say I deserve the credit tbh...😛 btw Sam kieth had to redraw the entire first issue of sandman for free because the editor was so displeased with the initial results...I think this version, you can almost feel him pulling against his instincts to make them happy

You should just do some videos on the Warren artists. Those books had some incredible artist that don`t get enough love. A Sal Buscema video would be great as well. Warrior was a B&W magazine . Both Marvel ( Miracle ) Man & V. premiered there in the early 80`s.

I know you'd tell me if it was not good! haha I am still going to try and work on it, but won't complain about it in future videos.

@@RichardFriendartist in the summer I like putting the fan on at night to sleep and keep cool, I generally like white noise and the like. Laptops will always have loud fans, OBS is the best but you need an intel or better yet nvidia graphics card. The cost of a mic you could get an old computer from craigs or fb for $100 with an nvidia gtx card and it would be great for OBS, something with a sandy/ivy bridge and a gtx 650 would handle OBS great and cost peanuts since it can't run Windows 11. The problem with OSB is when you're stuck with software in the settings, I have intel and I use hardware QSV but I used an AMD card in the past and the framerate was choppy and slow because it was all software.
