I loved the vlog. Here’s why and some ideas and suggestions: 1) really loved the amazing edits on this - the addition of sound and effects, made me feel like I was there 2) you showing up for everything and the stats makes for quality content on its own. As you said, you’re not playing a character, just being yourself 3) I love how you’re open to showing your family and that side of personal life, builds a stronger connection with you Some ideas/ suggestions: 1) I saw a previous comment where your goal with this is more entertainment + value but I would love to see the more vulnerable side of you. It could be the case where you’ve no lows and challenges and that you just show up for everything but I’m sure there must be some stuff behind the scenes, I would love to know what’s going through your head in those, what are those parts of you that you feel comfortable sharing 2) I would also love to see the more business side of stuff, I know the newsletter and public facing side is only a small percentage of you - but how about the business side, companies you’ve invested in, team, etc Regardless - I feel really inspired and moved - so much so that I plan to launch something involving you for later this year (stay tuned 😉)

I guess this question came out of my own insecurity: I do waste a lot of precious time on Internet content, and feel pretty guilty for doing so. That's not an excuse to be a jerk, so sorry for how this came across. I have found some of your content interesting and useful for building a better life. I'm just frustrated I'm getting stuck in places, and can't (yet) help but be jealous of those who aren't

  • @Sahil_Bloom

@@coreyread8816 I apologize if I read your comment as more of an attack and less of a genuine question/concern. I personally think of this kind of content as "entertainment" in the sense that it replaces any other mindlessly enjoyable activity, and hopefully provides a bit more value in the form of little nuggets of insight/wisdom along the way. That being said, I always advocate for anyone to spend more time ACTING on the insights rather than just gathering them.

I've been following you on LinkedIn for quite some time now, I like your content and I also liked how you reply to almost all the comments on your video Also, I am impressed by some of the rules you live by, like dedication and your concept of paying rent, and not to worry about things not in your control, wonderful! I was wondering where you got these rules from? While watching the video, it reminded me of the fact that Islam gives us some of those guidelines as well to live by, like always being grateful, and striving for excellency, and that strong believer is more beloved to Allah than a weak believer Made me think if you ever had a chance to study Islam I trust you won't be judgemental, I encourage you to study Islam as that'd be paying rent for your future self on the next level! I'm sure you'll connect with it! It'd benefit you Do let me know if you plan to try it 😊
