He continues to provide insight into advertising in the age of the Internet and social media through his blog at Campaign’s Brand Republic site, his column “The Wiki Man” at The Spectator and his busy Twitter account.
From unlikely beginnings as a classics teacher to his current job as Vice Chairman of Ogilvy Group, Rory Sutherland has created his own brand of the Cinderella story. He joined Ogilvy & Mather’s planning department in 1988, and became a junior copywriter, working on Microsoft’s account in its pre-Windows days. An early fan of the Internet, he was among the first in the traditional ad world to see the potential in these relatively unknown technologies.

Man this guy is a hidden gem some of the most interesting thought provoking and actually humorous T d talks that I've seen and I've actually been able to watch back to back to back but why are his views so little that's crazy to me cause I think his Ted talks are some of the best I've seen

Rory is without doubt "the" most interesting and though provoking person I have had the intellectual joy to follow. For those of you that don't know what I'm talking about then I suggest you listen to him a little bit harder. Thank you Rory for the outstanding contribution to my understanding of the humble man in the street.

He's wrong in saying we don't notice when choice architecture is bad.
Yes, Rory but given that you're an intelligent person the money gives you a lot of choices and and options and they are not only limited to purchasing goods like you said. Money + imagination + good health = freedom. In Thailand you can "buy" yourself a girlfriend that will make you happy in many ways (been there, done that) Also, when you're wealthy but living in a impoverished area it is only a matter of booking a ticked to a wealthy area. What? did you said that you need a visa or a citizenship? Monte Carlo SELLS its citizenship for a few millions $ and I think living in French Riviera is pretty comfortable. I've spend a relaxing holidays in Nice so I know what I'm talking about. Money brings happiness given that you're smart enough to use it wisely

Wrong. Innervation is a concept that Rory is promoting. Innervation is innovating with what you already have, using psychology to create value rather than always looking for innovation - something new/creating more and more.

It isn't a typo. Rory says that innervation is when you make psychological changes instead of physiological changes.
sometimes I feel he can't commute value because he throws in too many words and doesn't keep it simple
same dummy that irrationality he gonna invent an other mystery what i hate the most after arrogance ....
