INMATES BUILD HOLDEN WB ONE-TONNER FOR CHARITY

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Every inmate in Junee Correctional Centre has, at one time, done something that has been deemed to be of detriment to the community. But the end goal of a prison sentence should be rehabilitation, and if an offender can re-emerge into the community having served their time with new skills, they stand a far better chance of becoming gainfully employed and staying out of strife.
With a TAFE NSW campus onsite, the Junee Correctional Centre achieves plenty of positive outcomes for inmates, which can in turn benefit the community. This this latest project - a WB Holden One Tonner which has been rebuilt entirely in-house (or so-to-speak) - will shortly be raffled off to raise much-needed funds for the local branch of Can Assist.
Powered by a reconditioned 253ci Holden V8 and equipped with an awesome custom tray and beautiful paint and bodywork, the car looks outstanding.
At last count the raffle had raised in excess of $50,000 for Can Assist, which will directly benefit local cancer patients - an outstanding result. The comp closes soon, tix available from: www.rafflelink.com.au/junee2663

Well im 43 and when i was 15 i got right into cars i had a vh commy . Nice worked 308 ,straight in silver! Spent 16k on it in 93 so it was a sweet beast BUT my dream car was a 1 tunna! I got a little lost at that time of my life so it never eventuated ! Can i say this car is the PERFECT representation of that dream car i had and makes me a little teary eyed to be honest! So clean! Not over done just straight as !!! This is how it should have come from the factory!! What a fantastic oportunity for the inmates as well very well thought out! Its so important that we help educate people that have gotten lost early in life it easily happens ! One day you wake up and you have lost your way without that intention! Believe me it happed to me!! Majority of people locked up are good people that have made a few wrong decisions it can easily happen! It could of easily happened to anybody! How many people reading this have drunk driven and luckily got away with it? You could have accidentally killed somebody! These guys need support and a second chance!!!! But what a beautiful 1 tunna! One of the nicest ive ever seen! To the guys that decided to go this way with the build what a design!!! PERFECT!!! Thanks for great video to!!! 😉👌👏💪! I hope all involved are on their way to a better life once out!!!💙 love to you all!!!! Thankyou!

Great video! Looking at these Australian muscle cars is like stepping into a parallel universe for someone in the U.S. Y'all make amazing street machines over there, just different from what we're used to seeing over here. I have no chance of ever owning one, so it looks like I will just have to settle for watching them on KZread and old Mad Max movies.

Hmm, 6 years ago, I guess it's too late to buy a ticket.....I was 21 when Street Machine magazine first came out. I bought it religiously for years but I never seemed to have the time, money or place to build a show car. Not that I would ever own a "show" car, but a weekend driver with a ridiculously thirsty big block that has the neighbors complain about the loud exhaust would be nice.

LDN Wholesale yeah in WA i got a yellow sticker in pure daylight for my high beams not working , i was 2 mins away from servo to get new globes and the scum wouldn't let me , from there i had to go the pits and just one emissions test for my extractors was to cost me 2800 for one test so i had to sell the car unregistered , it was a Nissan Silvia and i was on my P's , my friend got a yellow sticker on his Silvia 2 weeks later he put everything stock back on his car passed the pits after the pits he was driving home a cop pulled him over trying to sticker him for black dust on the bumper from the turbo smoke it leaves , he couldn't believe it he showed the cop the receipt and paper work that he just left the pits and passed meaning the car is good for Australian standards , they still wanted to sticker him he just just got away , absolute criminals those fuckers , remember a police man is someone who looks after the citizens a police officer is someone who is just a pawn issuing tickets to civilians to make money for the gay mafia governments .
