This is like the ONLY thing I've seen with Play Till End feature. I've been searching for this forever.

The included sounds are great. I love many of the loops. The plugin itself needs better control. There's way too much mouse-work. I'd like to see midi record. After all, the target audience for this plugin is big on using controllers, drumming out patterns on pads - not pointing and clicking. More control over individual slices is needed, too. Let's see fade in/out and amp controls for individual slices. It's a worthwhile plugin, keep up the good work.

I purchased this a few months back, and am suprised that for drums and bass parts you can only pencil them in, i know you can do this directly in you daw, but it will make the software more complete if you can play drum & bass parts in live (or import a mid you pre-created as a starter) into Initial slice . That way the idea creation process is self contained in the software

One my favorites.. Initial Audio products are definitely great tools to have.

This is a actually the great vst/standalone software. I think it is important to invest on it, and hopeful that this will be developed to a complete DAW, but from what I see, I am loving this as it.

Can you impart different "grooves" onto the sliced sample to get individual slices to play ahead or behind beat automatically per a genre or to match to another "beat"?

Great software. Murders beat block and stays out of your way. Very intuitive. Great job!

Cool! Can we use the drum-loop (a loop from vinyl, human acoustic drummer) transients like MIDI NOTE-ON points, too? That's a really necessary feature.

The plugin is a good start but still needs a lot of sorting out with the UI. For instance the sequence piano roll scrolls the opposite way to the scroll bar. The piano roll C-keys are very tiny. With Logic the sample trigger is C0 which you can't access via the sequencer. Also, auditioning sounds you've dragged in means you can't just press play in the plugin but have to press play in your DAW (unless you have created a note on C2 in the plugin piano roll) which makes the process unreasonably more time consuming. When playing the full sample there is a very tiny marker that shows where the current play-head is and thus which slice is being played. This needs to be obvious but is just not visible. Removing note and patterns is too slow also. Why not allow the delete key to delete entries? what about click and drag to select multiple notes? Egoist is still my favourite sample machine followed by Geist2 but I hope Initial Slice will invest in more UI development to make this plugin ready for pro time.

I only bought this plugin for the sample loops and drum pattern presets. What I do is just put all of the bass, sample, and drum pattern sequences from Slice inside of Logic's midi editor. Then I build the full beat inside of Logic's timeline. I also don't like having to click in all of the notes with my mouse. No point in using a midi keyboard with is in standalone mode either. This thing is nothing more than a beat starter with presets and is no where near as flexible as Maschine or MPC Beats/Software. I do think beginners who are new to sampling can benefit from this.

Color scheme and functionality are not my cup of tea, but that's not saying this thing can't produce incredible quality beats. Is there a way to change the color scheme to day/light mode or something?? Like I've said in other videos, I have Sektor, Heatup and 808 Studio which are my go to VSTs that use less CPU unlike Native Instruments, but this plugin is killing my eyes trying to find buttons/knobs that can be easily located in LPX or FL Studio.

This is like a updated NI Maschine software :) good work so far!

Is there a way to lock the sample key to the bass sequencer?

When is version 1.1.7 ready? I purchased the plugin like a month ago and haven't used it ever since. Still a few bugs in it...

The Nemesis Drum Kit is a regular wav file based content pack for use in any daw / sampler / step sequencer of choice. It is not a Heatup content pack. However... the Vendetta Heatup3 Expansion Pack has a Drum Kit categorie in which you will find Drum Kits for use directly in Heat Up. Those are the same drum sounds you will find in the wav file based Drum Kit as well. The Drums are already in Heatup, for those that want to use the Drums outside of Heatup, we have included the Nemesis Drum kit so you have access to the source wav files.

Yes! Simply drag and drop your sounds loops into the window at the top or the content / sample browser at the left.

There's a problem with the bounce to wave it only works once then if u try to bounce a different version it doesn't show up in the folder just the first one kinda annoying

Hey, these drum loops are part of the expansion packs for Slice. Slice comes with a drum sequencer... which allows you to change drum samples, midi information and more.
