They also tried to call for help thru social media on their phone and lost time trying to get service instead of using the landline or running out of the room screaming like any mother would.

Let’s look at the story here 1 no wi fi or internet in the room ? Eh she’s an influencer, have you met these people , they are hooked . Hard to believe 2 why was her hotel room door open , chain should have been on or if you can’t lock from the inside them something in front of the handle . 3 blaming the pool door becoming open , yet not taking responsibility for the hotel room door not being locked. 4 both parents “ taking a nap “ , I have a 2 year old and most of the time of we are that tired we tend to split up naps , IE my wife will nap and I will stay up then vise versa . It’s a tragedy and the boy never stood a chance with these narcissistic arsehole parents .

Exactly!! We said the same thing; when the kids were little, we never napped together. And we checked, and double checked the doors at night. Something is very off with this story.

Kinda questionable that the baby was able to open a pool door/gate (1), both of them stayed in the room worrying instead of one staying and one rushing down to the lobby (2), even though there was no wifi or internet, they didn’t call through the hotel phone, and instead tried to use their phones?! Unfortunate that the baby died but still a bit questionable that they could have saved it in so much more possible ways.

The pool door had to have been propped open. The parents were panicking. When you are in a panic you just want an ambulance now. The moment the boy was pulled out of the water he should have had CPR. He needs air in his lungs now. Yell for someone else call for an ambulance. And do yell so people understand it is an emergency.

Let me first say, that I'm very sorry for their loss. But I'm confused as to how a two year old gets up, in a Hotel room, unlocks the door, and wonders to the pool without ANYONE noticing?! I'm also confused as to why they were napping in another room. Before this happened she was talking about how he was sick and needed prayers, but would only talk about how he was in the Hospital. This sounds a lot like Munchausen syndrome by proxy (MSBP). Maybe she "drown him" but went to far and it killed him?! Something about this is ichy to me; I just can't put my finger on it! RIP Enzo.

I wonder why she didn’t use the top closure on the hotel door or lock all things as much as possible. 2 year olds are curious and get into everything. Why didn’t they take turns napping if that tired. Was alcohol involved? Either way, it’s a terrible tragedy and I wouldn’t wish this on anyone.

See this is the problem , it’s someone’s else’s fault all the time . I have a wild idea, why don’t parents just be careful and responsible for these kid ? I have a two year old and the key is to always lock the main door behind you and never take your eyes off them . The fact that her and her husband left an unsecured hotel room door and went to sleep is the issue . Also they blamed “ someone “opening the pool room door Wild

Same. I have a personal pool and keep my cover shut when not in use. I could only imagine the liability as a hotel, etc, to not have a lifeguard on duty at all times. Just sounds like an insurance nightmare waiting to happen. Could’ve been people on their phones and not paying attention…. Who knows. But may this baby rest in peace. And I do feel bad for the parents too… the guilt the parents have to endure for the rest of their lives isn’t something id wish on my worst enemy. Rip.
