It's not hard to find some of those. Also,I do wish you achieve your dreams - which seem to be fame-related - but I'll have to let you know that INFJs are very well established in the "famous spectrum" already (M.L. King, Nelson Mandela, Ghandi, even Hitler, as well as some more recent writers, psychologists, celebrities etc). I'd say ENTPs are the best fit as long as they are using their Fe; sharing Ti and Fe with them means they can truly understand how you feel while having a sligthly different way of looking at the world, after that I'd say ENFP and ENFJs. INFJ x INFJ is also realy good though, if both aren't too similar and one is active like an ENTP generally is.

My boyfriend is an INFJ and I am an INFP. We literally have this discussion a lot "I want what you want" "No, you tell me what you want." "No you decide..." At the end we often have to guess what the other one wants. I am trying my best to make him feel safe to set boundaries. I am uncomfortable with deciding for him too much. Also as I am an INFP he is one of few people where I feel seen, heard and understood. We can deep talk for hours. However, he loves giving advice and helping others and I don't him to give too much, as I don't want him to exhaust himself. I want him to know that he is worthy of being cared for and listened to too. So I guess that's why I am watching videos about INFJs at 2am.

I'm INFJ and I had a dream a few nights back where my perfect partner did something unexpected that I never knew I always wanted: I wanted to go to him but I was afraid of rejection so instead I laid on the floor near his room and just went to sleep. He came out - saw me - laid down next to me - pulled me into his arms - and also went to sleep. It - was - perfect!

One day I woke up and realized most my friends were INFJs. I believe I offer my INFJ friends and family these things that they crave: 1) Structure and direction 2) My INFJ friends like to be around loudly quirky people because it makes them feel less weird and more comfortable opening up 3) Loyalty, reliability and honesty are paramount to an INFJ, who are often taken advantage of by other types 4) INFJs like my directness because they feel comfortable when they know what their role is and how they fit in 5) INFJs hate manipulation, and they would rather be asked for a favor or even commanded. INFJs usually enjoy working under me because there are no games or hidden expectations to navigate. Everything is clear and the rules are known and fair. 6) INFJs tend to come out of the woodwork to be the wingman for my masterplans. They like big plans that enact change. They want to make an impact. 7) I like to break down and discuss theory and ideas, and INFJs love joining in and discussing things they thought no one else cared about

But thats where i come in to help him with that and he needs someone to tell him where its too much so like the video said calling him out. Don’t be afraid to call them out at times because thats what they or as i know my partner who is an infj thats what he needs as he’s constantly in his head. I'm an ENTP, and my wife is an INFJ. We just celebrated our 15th anniversary; I attribute that to us both realizing each other's strengths and weaknesses and, henceforth, building on them to create balance. I constantly find it pretty amazing how different our brains function in so many regards, yet we are also so much alike, not in spite of said differences, but because of them. It's seemingly paradoxical but true, nonetheless. As with any relationship, it is give and take, finding compromise, and putting one's ego aside long enough to consider the other's perspectives and the subjective nuances which create said perspectives.

How many permafrost, megafauna carcasses are now thawing out, and drip drip dripping their ancient funk into the streams>rivers>oceans of the planet? Skin, hair, bone, and flesh that hasn’t been kissed by oxygen or the sun’s light for over 12,000 years...now slowly marinating in a soup of polar meltwater and cradled by oceanic currents. Were both empathetic and we never feel misunderstood with each other. I definitely am more spontaneous where he is more of the planner and it works out. If he plans to much, then i plan things for us, and i remind him to live and enjoy the present and not to worry too much, as we are both HEAVILY over-thinkers. Our self awareness and kindness is amazing and I’ve never had a better more compatible partner. I love studying INFJS and ways i can understand him more and be a better partner 😊 We can talk for hours and while we both can be stubborn, we both love to improve ourselves and take into account advice that the other is giving, and actually make those changes ❤️

I’m an ENFP male who is engaged with an INFJ, and this video has more than anything served to reinforce the idea that ENFP’s are (dare I say) the best match for INFJ’s. Every one of these qualities are embodied by an ENFP’s Extraverted Intuition (spontaneity, open mindedness, capable of understanding INFJ thought processes, okay with being unraveled and hearing new perspectives) and Introverted Feeling (Strong Fully-Formed identity, Empathy, can appreciate uniqueness of INFJ). I’ve been in many relationships before meeting my fiancé, and can say from the other end that no other type (in my opinion) can appreciate the qualities of an ENFP to the degree that INFJ’s can.

I'm an INFJ dating an ESTJ and this video confirmed a lot of my thinking as well as presenting me with more insight. He is more spontaneous, very direct, very set in who he is, calls me out but is also respectful.. It was funny when I asked him to take the MB test, he did it without questioning me on it, even though he had no personal interest in it. When he gave me his result, I found two videos describing the type and they described him perfectly (and he agreed they were accurate.) It turned out so accurate because, as per his typing, he didn't care enough about this abstract thing to lie about it, but also doesn't lie to begin with because he strongly values authenticity. Our dynamic is fun because he's very open to new ideas and concepts and loves to learn, he enjoys having long conversations and hearing opinions and criticism. He values self-improvement so those things all help him achieve that so he values my opinions, advice, and explanations about random things, even if he doesn't necessarily agree. There was a suggestion in another video stating ESTJs shouldn't date more sensitive types like INFJs.. and I can't say that hasn't been an issue as it kind of creates a communication barrier at times. While I value emotions, feelings, what they signify, and how to analyze and resolve them, he looks at the more practical and logical side and at times considers emotions and feelings more of a nuisance. It hasn't caused fights, per se, but it has caused misunderstandings a few times and I think that's our biggest barrier as a couple. However, thus far, we've been successful at navigating and resolving these issues. Thank you for providing the insight that you do Frank, and stay awesome!

ENFP passing through here! Just a little appreciation post for you INFJs. Some of my closest friends are INFJs, and I can only speak for what I know from my friendships with them, but I truly cherish the special bond I have with each of them. We're comfortable enough to have deep conversations with each other, and appreciate each other's related, yet not identical, views on the world. Like looking at two different sides of the same coin. The other's perspective often stops us in our tracks. Sometimes INFJs have such a unique take on the world, and it's incredible. I also feel like we see aspects of each other that other people seem to miss. Being people who easily understand others but often find themselves feeling pretty misunderstood, I think it’s something we both really appreciate. INFJs are so sharp and intuitive, it's like they see a part of me I wish the rest of the world could see. I think we can also sense each other's boundaries and needs for space, and it ends up feeling really safe with them. I also love how INFJs are planners. I can be kind of an easily-distracted, go-with-what-I-feel-right-now mess myself, so I like that about them. But most of all I love how INFJs are usually great listeners, because I have so much I want to share, like I'm just bursting to share all my ideas and am longing for someone to actually want to listen and share them with me. I feel like INFJs are great people to share a lot of this with. In fact, I think you'd be appealing to different kinds of people because of your many good qualities. oh my goodness I've digressed and written an essay. Is anyone actually going to read this? Anyway, I think you INFJs are so interesting, complex, insightful, and you can also be very sweet. I hope you know you’re great and I know that not everyone really "gets" you, but I hope you find the meaningful relationships in life that you’re looking for :)

And I love the deep ideals we share that keep us rooted. Im the extroverted super empath and she's the introverted empath. Together we love to bring life to the ones we love around us. Biggest struggles would probs be INFJ being more cynical than ENFJ's who have a difficult time seeing anything but the best in others. All good in balance though. In private I am his non-judgemental confidante / cheerleader who helps him see alternative points of views and solutions. Though the difference is that enfj husband is the cynical one due to him being so direct and frank in conversations that he immediately despises and takes a while to forgive people who are dishonest/ avoiding him rather than talking it out. While I infj wife am more about seeing the best in others to balance their unlikable traits, am quick to forgive even if they didn't apologize just for the sake of harmony.

Good points but one thing I'd add is that because of our eagerness to offer advice/share our wisdom to help others, we're at greater risk of codependency. So I think its important to address this aspect and encourage INFJs to build a solid identity of their own so they know what they want and can stand their ground when a relationship isn't meeting their needs and they don't lose themselves in a relationship.

Me too. The first thing I noticed about my husband was his kind but bright eyes, and the connected way in which he talked to everyone he came into contact with. So I knew right away that he was not only a kind heart, but had spark and drive too. He's extremely practically helpful, and enjoys personal growth like I do. One thing that's different about us is that he is perfectly happy to speak his opinions about other people (he is from New York- I'm from humble New Zealand), and I actually find that really refreshing. I'm not outspoken and don't like saying negative things about people (even if they are kind of horrible people), but he'll say it, and I'll be like- "Ouch, that's harsh!" but secretly be celebrating because that's what I would want to say- if I were bolder! I don't know what personality type he is- he doesn't like being put in a box, so he won't take it. I wouldn't be surprised if we were both the same, but with variations on the scale (like maybe he is a bit less introverted than me, and more assertive- like a strong INFJ?) But we both accept each other for who we are, which is wonderful.

Loyalty and reliability is big in my books. That's the first hurdle. If they can't pass that, it doesn't go any further. Intellectual stimulation is always a plus. Thinkers are awesome. INFJs are eternal students, love learning about new ideas, concepts and even practicalities (which we sorely need).

I am INFJ. My husband is ISTP. While I am planning he is doing. He will quietly take charge of things without being bossy, which I love. When we're planning to go out, I will take a while to get myself together, while he is ready to go. He frequently says to me "I'll be in the car waiting." Lol. I love our differences, but our similar introversion and values tie us together. He's the best.

Small example of complimentary strengths In truth, though, that's really what it's about. Find someone who compliments your strengths and that you can be a complete weirdo with at 3am. There's crazy in every type, and limiting yourself may blind you to a great match. Just my take. ~A (hopefully not crazy) INFJ

I agree with this entirely and I love that you incorporated our partners needs and what we can offer in relationships. It’s so important for people in relationships to be able to utilize their gifts and to be receptive of each other’s gifts in general. They also need to to be able to be decently aware and open to understanding the other persons needs.

I always find myself attracted to characters and people who look like they just need a hug but don't show it, if someone shows it too much it comes off as fake but if they don't show it then I find myself drawn to them romantically and just want to make them feel loved and make them smile. I also really like girls who really listen to me, like I talk and talk and while everyone else is either disinterested, annoyed, or overwhelmed, but they are just listening, and showing genuine interest in what I have to say. That's a big one for me.

Being spontaneous isn't really an issue since we also live on opposite sides of the world but it's not hard to go out and have fun even when we're together, especially when everything we do together is new to one of us.
