INFJ Personality Type Secret INFJ: Today we're talking about INFJs escaping the matrix. We all know the movie, this isn't some conspiracy theory, this is just a way of talking about how we are setting the limits to what we can achieve because I'm convinced there isn't just this one matrix that we all live in and some of us get to escape out of it. I believe we all have our unique matrix that is completely different from person to person. And once we recognize this, it will get that much easier to escape it. And then you start making jumps you never thought possible. And we as INFJs have a unique opportunity here because we understand how to reframe our minds, how to stand alone, and how to push through.

When the intuition about people is disobeyed by manipulating a conclusion that living through “societal rules” is the best route to go. Societal rules = wanting friends ASAP over focusing on self (which is where people pleasing comes in), having an idea about society which is so toxic (organizing people like nerds or jocks and holding value with that INSTEAD of seeing each individual for who they are and seeing if YOUR values align with THEIRS), etc.. I love the latter because so many friendships I feel I could have had were missed due to such a high functioning (and toxic) fe which prioritized people pleasing.

I always thought of the matrix as an asylum. In movies or tv series with asylums there generally is someone in the asylum who is told that this asylum is the only world. But throughout the movie or series they learn that there is a whole other world out there. In this same way: we are raised to live on one autopilot, but then through psychology and five pillars we learn that we can control our havbits to change our psychology and live and manifest a life that represents the vibrancy and color than is aligned with our higher selfs

Funny coincidence, i was watching it last night! It all comes down to: Self-Belief! That self belief will bring forth your most authentic self, which is your power! The movie shows Neo's growth out of doubt into total self belief. Neo doubted that his reality was real or had any meaning (at the start, he opens a book on nihilism), and thats why Morpheus was able to wake him from the matrix. Morpheus strongly believed he would find the one, which then leads Neo into believing in himself. Neo only reaches limits when he is in doubt. The Oracle's role is just to test if the "The One" truly believes that they are "the one". Once Neo believes in himself, he is able to bend the matrix to his will. This truth holds up in our INFJ matrix as well. Believe in our power so that we no longer hold ourselves back! The mind is bounded by what we believe!

Greetings from Topanga Ca👋. My sweet INFJ’s Stop being such people pleasers simple as that really . The moment you do so you’ll quickly see the bigger picture. You’ll see that you are the bigger picture! Build your castles on top of your dreams! But keep your dreams at night and don’t confuse your dreams with day dreams because day dreams are not real Day dreams are actually just visions and the moment you invest your physical energy in the direction of your visions You will manifest your castles 🏰 on top of your actual dreams.

Greetings 👋 Thank you for commenting. Not all INFJs realize that they are INFJs Our harmonious quest and nurturing qualities make us prone to narcissists/manipulative individuals who tap into our kindness. There are INFJs who are new to all of this! New to this community Who may not have known that people pleasing might have been an unintentional way of keeping harmonious relationships. Look at it from all angles. For example I am going out of my way to reply to you in hopes that you don’t hyper focus on 2 words and may you re-evaluate the overall meaning of my original post. Thus by me having to clarify, people pleasing is created because I am going out of my way to explain to you. You see I am not obligated to explain anything nor do I expect everyone to understand my perspective. As a community... I feel this is a beneficial example to all of my lovely INFJs. Don’t do what I just did 🤷🏻‍♂️;) May my words reveal more than they obscure ❤️ I send you energy ⚡️

This tape spoke volumes to me as an INFJ. ' Making oneself small so others seem larger.' I thought that was my role. That coupled with absorbing the atmosphere in the room made it often painful to be in groups. I used to say to myself, "I'll just observe." Lonelier being in a group than alone. The last relationship I was in I felt we were in the same room. He threw his charm my way and said that he would never hurt me. Famous last words. He punched me in the stomach and said I made him do it. I took full responsibility. When I was heading for surgery and they thought I had a cancerous tumor I comforted him as he was overwhelmed. I said, "I understand you are sad." I absorbed his emotions and did not deal with my own fear. Lately, I have been listening to these tapes and have found a break through. Thank you so much. Seems deep authenticity happens when one is not layered in others expectations and letting them define you. I find this authenticity can even happen to an older person. Gives one hope! Its not an end game it is a journey. In that journey is happiness. Thank you.

Since I've become, for the most part, my authentic self. I would describe my life as; I live in a tree house by myself in the middle of the jungle by a swamp. When I go out into the real world, I swing out of my tree and battle Tigers, Rhinos, and Scorpions on my way to the Swamp. I jump in head first then battle crocodiles and piranhas, but I'm being my authentic self! I battle all day! Then I high tail it back to my Safe Tree house, where nothing can get to me and I continue to be my authentic self. I relax, so I can do the same thing tomorrow. Authenticly!👍😊❣️

This is a major INFJ topic. I have been in such a situation's where my desire to put others first, because I was so convinced of their experience and authority, led me to big disappointment in the end, because this people where not what they seem to be. As I understand by watching videos like this, this is a tipical INFJ problem. We tend to set hierarchy in places where it's not necessary to because we think that we are less. I think that the INFJs need a liettle redifining of the term „judgement“. To be judge means to feel upset about someones opinions of you or your position in some matter, it's not a constitution, it's your choise. If you „give a permission“ to be judged you will be. There are people who will understand you, there are people who don't and thats fine. Everyone has his own life and way to do things.

Hi Wenzes, I think I experienced a real crisis when I was fired from my job (which I actually really hated anyway). It was the only thing bringing in an income and was what I solely defined myself by because I was always told growing up that having a job, not even one you like but just having income, was what defines you and makes you 'grown up'. Losing my job felt like a huge knock to my ego and sense of status and selfhood in the world. But as the months have gone by, I have been thinking much more deeply about how much I let my job define me. The death of my brother last year and my mother's grief have allowed me to have a different perspective on life and what makes me a valuable person or not. I can't say I have fully stepped out of the matrix yet but it is an ongoing process and I hope one that continues to deepen and grow.

I can confirm this big time. ☺ About a year and a half ago I made some important decisions about how I was going to relate to people. I started attending a different Church and changed my approach to others both there, at school, and with friends and family. I changed this, that and the other thing about what I would and wouldn't say, and resolved to only communicate in ways that I was comfortable doing. I would communicate respect to the other person and for myself as well, and to simply be me. It's hard to put in words how I changed things, but I've had little or no trouble with interpersonal relationships for quite a while now. Listening to this video, I realized that the new mentality is very much like what you're communicating here. So it's good confirmation that I was and am on the right track.

When you used a "glass" example, I was like "Oh yes!". I'd even written a poem about my past that literally has a line in it about me being an observer behind the glass; and that I may write my story, but somehow I still end up being not a main character in it. It seems like I would help people with something, but these people still end up being a center of the story, which I created, not me. I'm just an observer behind the glass.

Hi, Wenze. In this society, it is very hard to get anyone to like you due to the way they have lived and how they think. I know how hard it is for an INFJ to function in this society cuz I'm a ♏, INFJ and that puts me in a different box than most people. Even some INFJ's and some ♏, due to our beliefs. One should always find individuals that accept you for who you are fully because they are the ones that will love your "true self". If you have to change yourself or make yourself smaller than others, than you will have to continue to do that to satisfy the other person. That is why one should be yourself fully and love yourself. I'm sorry, but INFJ's can't be small no matter how much an INFJ may feel like it. I've studied INFJ's so much, that I know INFJ's can seriously do things that others may assume is impossible. I think my history has proven it. Guys, all we need are solutions to make it in society. On my personal time, I'm 100% me, but I had to learn to fit into society during work hours because that makes me more successful and it is the only way to get things done. I consider it politics. I dread it, but you gotta do what you gotta do to make change. 🤷‍♀️ That is how much faith I have in INFJ's. We attract who we are. When you step up your game, you will also attract the same people around. A healthy INFJ will attract many positive individuals (with few exceptions, of course cuz the world is big) and many other INFJ's and individuals who are gonna be knowledgeable within the Psychology field because INFJ's are very strong in Psychology. Anyways, thanks for everything Wenze! You are the best! 😆

Although, there are many beautiful friends and acquaintances who love me and are fascinated by my wisdom and creativity. I am 69 years/o female who is very comfortable as myself. For one person the matrix could be a 9-5 they're stuck in but for others the 9-5 is something that can help them escape a different matrix, e.g. running a failing/unfulfilling business

Woov it is a good point. I love the Matrix movie so much. Because of its depth and story. Unfortunately ı couldnt find much people who has a cinema taste like me. Most people just love Transformers and Marvel kind of movies with lots of flashes, action and CGİ. But as an Infj I like story telling, depth of characters and small details in the movies. I can watch Lord of the Rings 100 times because the story is beautiful. İt is hard to be an Infj because of high expectations from everything. Do you agree with me?

I usually shout out my truth. People are quite used to it. But sometimes I want their love and attention, the illusion of a connection, so I shut up. It's not really conscious. I realize it only after it happens. Now I have a question. Recently an ESTP has been interested in me. I can see he's too active for me, too "shallow" when discussing ideas (or just not interested) and too simple, even though he's a good and funny guy. I like how he manages people and uncertainty. I have a feeling he's going to realize it very soon that I'm totally different... and that it won't work out. Should I reject him immediately or meet with him a few times to make him realize it himself? I'm afraid I will shut up and try to make him feel good observing his needs - in fear of seeing his disappointment and feeling rejected myself. What do you think? What is fair, what is wise? I'm asking because I don't want to run away as usually. Maybe I can learn something?

Hi wenzes I am an infj and I have a doubt that is working for epic life mean every time & constantly thinking about your infj life because it can leads to overthinking and this can cause anxiety and this can stops you from your goal so "how do we find the redline between overthinking and working on your infj epic life?" and also is overthinking normal for an infjs?

Hi Bob, Overthinking is never the answer. Specifically for us: it‘s action that is necessary. Overthinking is common for infjs (ni-ti loop), that‘s why I am so keen on ‚take‘ action..create externally observable facts

Isn't ιt strange, yet also controversial? "(...) And the explanation will come someday when no explanation will be needed anymore(...), wrote a greek poet that I love: Tassos Livaditis

I had to let who I thoug ht was a good friend go to go to my space and fill out into who I am. turns out she didn't like me anyway. which is fine. I'll never be a sycophant again. and that's worth losing every selfish friend.

Meh, I still don't understand why I should escape the Matrix. I only talk to people when necessary, at work. If anything, I prefer to dive deeper into the Matrix. Everyone live in this Matrix people call reality anyway. In a way, it's like the Matrix movie trilogy; in a way it's not at all.
