Great video! So how would you compare this to the Supreme Hybrid? I was actually surprised to learn (from a reply you made to another question), that these Infinity chairs are made by the same company along with the Daiwa and even the Human Touch chairs, which I didn't know. The Luminary is so new I couldn't find reviews and the closet I could find was the Kyota M980 which is very much the same, (Syner-D and same factory), and has the same calf and foot mechanisms as the Luminary. People complained of harsh and painful pinching of the ankle/Achilles area. Did you experience that at all? Stretch, Neck and Shoulders are the areas I'm looking for most so I'm sure these chairs hit those areas well! Thanks again Doctor!!

The Hybrid does not have the achilles component that the Infinity chairs do. That is a common feature in many of their models. The Daiwa fits a bigger body better than the Circadian but the Luminary fits more like the Hybrid. They all do a similar job to the neck and shoulders, because of the dual rollers, and the stretch is similar, although the stretch of the Hybrid seems a bit stronger. How does this chair compare with the Daiwa Supreme Hybrid and the Human Touch Supa Novo?

The Luminary and the Supreme Hybrid are actually built in the same chinese factory, which is one of the top factories in China. The chairs have very similar roller mechanisms, both being split tracks. The Super Novo is also built in the same factory but does not have the split track roller system, like the Luminary and Hybrid. The split track in the Luminary and Hybrid has rollers on the upper track and rollers on the lower track. It will also facilitate a better stretch than the traditional SL-track, which is what the Super Novo has. I hope this helps. I have the Human Touch Supa Nova. Would you say it is worth the upgrade to go to the luminary Suner-D?@@massagechairrelief

I have the Osaki Vivo 4D/2D and they are exactly the same. The leather, the button layout, they are both carbon exact duplicates. Can you determine that they are not the same exact chair please?

The Vivo and the Luminary are built in the same factory in China and have the same split-track technology. We have the Luminary in our Arizona showroom and will have the Vivo in that same showroom towards the end of next week. I would recommend calling the showroom at 480-597-3578 and speaking with my manager, Shawn. He will sit on both models for you and give you an honest assessment of the similarities and differences of the two models. Although some chairs look the same and have the same or similar features, it does not mean that they feel the same to the user. I know the Vivo has a more gentle massage. Perhaps the Luminary has a more or less intense massage than that. My manager will be able to give you a definitive answer. I hope this helps. dr. w.

I feel like their major difference in price points but nearly identical in engineering would make you wonder how many other chairs are companies just slapping their name on it and not really behind the engineering and adding a few thousand more for namesake. @@massagechairrelief

Is this basically the kyota m980? What are the differences if any?

We don't carry that model. It is a Costco exclusive. I know that the split track technology is similar in both models, but I don't know the full feature comparison. You could call Infinity to get that info. Their number is 603-347-6006. Sorry I can't be of more assistance to you. dr. w.

Good question. Sounds like a plastic or synthetic leather rubbing sound. I never even noticed it until you mentioned it. dr. w.

How does this compare to the human touch super novo??

Although both are built in the same factory in China, they are quite different in 2 very fundamental ways. 1. the Luminary is a newer split track, while the Super Novo is a standard L-track chair. That means the Luminary has 6 rollers, instead of 4 (2 on the upper track, 4 on the bottom track). This track configuration provides a stronger neck and shoulder massage and a better stretch feature than the Super Novo. 2. The Luminary has calf rollers, along with kneading calf airbags, so that the calf massage is better in the Luminary. The Super Novo has calf airbags, but they don't knead the calves. They just compress them. There are some other minor programming differences, but the above 2 features are the most pronounced differences. I hope this helps! dr. w.

So far, how do you like the chair, does it give a very deep lower back massage? I was recommended by someone to purchase this chair because I suffer from low back pain

you looked kinda uncomfortable you kept adjusting your head

It’s probably from a couple of things. Repositioning my head while changes were made in the chair and as I looked at Michael, as well as a genetic twitch I’ve always had. Dr. W.
