Here's an idea if you haven't done it yet, make water behave like acid so that it damages mobs, destroys items, and melts through blocks. And also if possible make it either ignore armor or break armor.

It doesn't work anymore but if u use an execute command with arrows u can make a near infinitely exploding bomb. It's even better with flame on the bow and a delay in ticks on the command block not a huge delay. It’s bc the fire replaces the blocks so it’s not actually breaking the bedrock and bc you can’t place fire in the void it just instantly disappears the second it breaks bedrock which gives the affect that it literally breaks bedrock
