I can't believe they took a villain as awesome as Infinite and do the bare minimum with him, Sonic Forces needs a remake badly

This version feels like Infinite lamenting over his past, feeling he failed his squad and being too weak. Amazing job!

If Infinite was more menacing than the average shonen villain, this cover would fit perfectly, instead of being angry and edge all the time, being more unpredictable and mysterious. Great job!

I would actually approve the idea of a Female Infinite. She wouldn't be a genderbend of Infinite, but a completely new character trying to carry his legacy while adding in her own personal touch. IDW, take some notes and make this a reality!

Indeed... like say maybe the last survivor of The Jackal Squad, probably thr female one, becoming the new Infinite after discovering that her whole Squad, including the OG Infinite, where killed and defeated by the Sonic heroes

The original felt angry and hateful... This feels more resigned and cold. Not bad.

This is actually so underrated wtf? The original had the hatred and despair it wants to bring upon the world, while this one is like the person has gone old, past their peak era and is just now joining back the battle after years

Wow, your cover is something incredible! While the original is all about power and edge, your rendition of it adds madness to the mix. Now I can't unsee the potential in Infinite being crazy, considering the fact that he possesses the power of the Phantom Ruby. ngl, the piano instrumental sounds a lot like mephilies's theme, mixed with fist bump, added with the melancholy of how he became who he is. losing his squad, being at his weakest and unlike sonic and the rookie, he had nobody to lift him up when he needed it.

@@erikbihari3625 first off, you being rude is not necessary, second this is a beautiful cover that convey a sad tone to and other wise edgy villian that was not properly utilized in the game he showed up just like mephilis only Mephilis was actually somewhat menacing and succeeded on killing sonic. Third, just because it is a franchise about a cartoon hedgehog don't mean you can't be creative with How you wanna perceive a cover of a song like this. Fouth, I did not think too much on it because I came up with it on the spot and thought it was a creative take on a very sad cover, she is design in a way that make her look like she making a homemage to infinite and if I actually wanted to think to deep I would had called her his daughter or something stupid like that... Just because it a fictional characters don't mean we can't express ourselves how we want and I think it was a fun thing to think about until you decided to think....hey dis nerd think he funny let me ruin the mood by saying something unnecessarily rude in order to feel superior on a comment section nobody is ganna even keep reading if they want to avoid unnecessary conversations like this one.
