Infinite Ball Roll In Blender 2.83 [Tutorial In Eevee]

In this tutorial, you will learn how to make a really awesome infinite rolling ball animation loop in Blender 2.83. I am really excited to bring this to you guys, and I hope you enjoy it. I would recommend that you have a basic understanding of Blender before trying this tutorial out. (MUST USE Blender 2.8+ for this to work)

Great video! I didn’t do exactly what was done in the video, but I used it to learn how to make a cylinder and use rigid body physics. This video was very helpful, thanks!

There's definitely a bug in 2.9 in regards to the area lighting... But found that the spot light option will get you where you want to go, at least on this project.

How odd, I folowed it as exact as I could but my ball keeps bouncing and falling through the back of the first tube. I'm going to adjust the physics settings and see what I can do.

You could try key-framing the location vectors in the texture mapping node. Might work.

Now all you have to do is literally set the object to passive and plane to active work from there. if that dont work I said it backwards.

how we can make the ball roll it selfs like a ball rolling in the ground? because when i apply the textures to my ball it seems like just moving trough the scene not ''rolling'', do you understand me?

It could be how you have set up your texture. When you plugged in the texture co-ordinate node, did you use the "object" socket?

Yes, but it does look better in cycles. Eevee is still quite far away from something like unreal engine, but that being said, it's free and the Blender development team is always making improvements.
