so there are 2 types of infranyman. 1 is the busting doors etc 2. The one who shoot from a long distance

The main effort in the infantry will always be the the maneuver element in a rifle company, every other infantryman is there to support them. Wether it be the mortarmen, anti armor crews, sniper sections, weapons squads.

yes but what they dont tell you is its a 50/50 you dont pick which one, you go where the army thinks they need more of but the chances of being 11B is high

I absolutely loved EVERYTHING about NTC in Fort Irwin, California... Except the weather. The scenery and views we got from arriving there and leaving to get to the airport back to our home duty station on the East Coast was what made me fall in love with California's landscape.

I'm so sad, I'm trying to enlist in the army and my green card got renewed, and they said I can't go now, but other sergeants say I can have everything ready to go, they never have a right answer to my problem.

11B MOS is the only one worth having, Brotherhood of the Blue Cord got mine in September 78 Ft Benning Sand Hiton

As a 19Delta, I remember the day when the regiment became 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment to 3rd Cavalry Regiment.

11C Forever; same route 11X and became an 11C - in my Opinion; BEST JOB in the Army. Retired now but loved my time and Career!

You’ll start as an 11x and they randomly will select you good luck! I’m 11B my battle buddies are the best you’ll make great memories some days are hard but you just gotta keep going don’t give up 👊🏼

I am going thorugh the enlistment process now aiming for 11B as an option love the infantry guys hope to be one soon

I meet my sergent and the boss they came to my house and did everything i would like to do military police and patrol the streets on my town but the soldier who gave me ride back home from taking the test he told me im gonna hear from them in 30 days but in case they would not i got an offer to work for the city from customer who comes to our place to eat.

No, if you're an 11 Xray you can be randomly selected for either 11 Bravo, or 11 Charlie while at your holding unit before basic training. If you're joining with an 11 Bravo contract, you will be guaranteed to be one once you pass. Same goes with 11 Charlie.

I understand that a lot want to comment about joining the Army the Marines the Air Force the Navy and so forth and even the Coast Guard. Do not whatever you do bash the United States of America if you do not serve and if you make a comment make sure that you put in your MOS your time of service where you've been what t-shirts you have and what you did the United States military supposed to be based upon protecting the country and its people and upholding and defending into fighting necessary for the Constitution of the United States of america. And these days that are here now and look at the date stamp on when I make this post these poor young Lads are being pulled in I agree on a false pretenses but I serve through 33 years ago I lived up to my contract and I still believed to this day what I can do to protect my country and his people against all enemies foreign a domestic. I do highly recommend that if you're thinking about joining the armed forces in this day and this time think about it not once not twice but 2,000 times before you sign that contract it is not the same as 33 years ago when I joined. But do not bash my brothers my sisters who have served with me in battle. You can still be a patriot you can still fight for freedom you can still be an American a true American. Respect those who have died and who have served to give you the right to come on here and say negative things.
