I ❤ the Sound of these Cars! Reminds me of being at my 1st Indianapolis 500 last year in Speedway, Indiana.

I don’t know why these smaller teams with rookies don’t get Montoya or Townsend or Sebastian or one of the older masters to do this race. They could win the way big Al or Castroneves did. It’s a different animal than a road course and experience means more than youth.

Expensive to get them to drive and rookies often are either free or even pay to have a seat in the race in the first place.

Interesting seeing who runs in traffic better than others. Will be a great race.

They're not using the hybrid motors this year. As normal they will be using PTP

​@@HyperTheWorstthe indy 500 is a huge race, one of the most watched races in the world, so they want to give all teams enough time to get their car feeling good for race day. I believe they still have one more practice session on Friday at 11am eastern

@@DubPaj Everybody was exhausted and their minds were toast by the time the race started - a full month of practice with many guys doing multiple full-race runs! I was there for a couple years, and was actually glad when the race was over. The only problem was that we all had to load out on Monday and load in at Milwauke on Wednesday!
