At first I thought this dancing style would be fairly easy but then I noticed something interesting, at first it looks like she's just doing whatever with her limbs and just going nuts with reckless abandon but if you look closer you'll notice that her arms are hitting the beats while her hips and legs work at the rythm of the keyboard, trying to coordinate all of that at once, I found was fairly difficult props to cybers

To everyone in the comments wondering what's the point of this dance, I've got an answer for you. As someone who frequents goth nightclubs and raves, I will tell you the truth, and nothing but the truth! There is no point. For the most part we just move to the music. We don't even have to do it according to the beat. We just move. We close our eyes and dance to whatever emotion the music puts into us. There's no real choreography to our music. Sure, there might be some people who move in similar fashions, maybe they've seen videos like this and took the idea, but for the most part there's no line dancing or strict rules on how you're supposed to move your body. When you're dancing among a large group of people, you would think that they'd notice you, right? Wrong. None of us care how you dance. We're too busy doing our own thing to worry about what you're doing "wrong" or what you're doing "right". This is the true ballet, the original dance. Instead of focusing on steps and beats and making sure you remember every move properly, completely throw out your brain and let your body do the moving. It's much more relaxing, much more fun, and much less of a popularity contest.

I'd say it's more about youth rebellion than anything. To counter you, every generation thinks they invented rebellion against the establishment. It's a common theme in human culture; 30s flappers and the axial revolution during prohibition, the beat generation, the hippy movement, grunge, goth. Each brings a new generation's spin on the same theme. Really, each one is about expression of the self through different media. The youth movement is completely foreign to me and how I love my life, but I understand it and see a place for it in the counter culture moment.

dieterichja I will have to disagree with you on that. Real gothic culture has absolutely nothing to do with rebellion. I understand that most teens do rebel, but they rarely ever rebel into goth culture. They follow the mainstream culture, what's "hot" right now. There are some cases where you'd find a wanna-be goth kid, but I rarely ever see any. And I say wanna-be goth because they are clearly not goth in the slightest. They think the world owes them something, or wear dark clothing to piss off their parents. Those who do this are not goth, they're just going through a phase. For the younger goths who don't act like this, and actually enjoy the culture because it interests them and not because they can use it to piss people off, those are the real young goths. They will nine times out of ten grow up and still be goth in some way. I have seen plenty elderly goth men and women. Granted, they don't understand cybergoth since that is still a relatively "new" thing from their point of view. They're mostly old trad goths or even older, the romantic goth. But they're still goth nonetheless, and don't think society owes them anything in life.

I have been watching this video twice a month for the last 4 years and I never grow tired of it. That's what happens when music, dance moves and the right outfits come together into art. The result epic perfection!

What exactly is wrong here ? I bet people thought "The robot" and "Tweaking" were and still are fucking weird dance styles. I think she is great. Her style is cute and she's expressive in HER own way. And the fact there are people hating her for no reason just makes her look that much more defined in my eyes.

Nooo, they just all look EXACTLY the same. Same fluffy Clydesdale boots, corset, multicolored ropes tied in their hair, and goggles on their head, face mask. Can't complete the outfit without the goggles and the mask! And to top it off they all do the saaaaame exact dance. So sad what the scene became. We used to try to look different than everyone else. We used to try to be unique. This is just another example of a massive group of followers copying everyone else. Yuk. So dumb.

You can get those shoes in Sims 3 and I ever wondered, who the actual fuck would wear these. Thank you, KZread! :D

Katuš probly united states, cybergoth is just not that common here, and raves and cybergoth clubs dont even exist here unless maybe in very specific cities idk. only super large cities in america ive been to are miami, atlanta and chicago, nvr saw any. its just not a common thing here. but it has its fans
