That was pretty awsome.. Ya know... ya don't get to just do ANYTHING ya want... Watched some guys do induction soldering on some SMA fittings... Of course they had some sort of induction generator But what the hell... bought an electrrical induction type old fashion soldering gun... and bent the hell ouf of the induction tip to circle around the SMD FITTING... And it was awsome... used a little pall point pen spring to hold the smaller than coax cable RG 316 cable and fitting... shield to the fitting nipple it goes into Since the issue with these connections is the crimp on shield cover...takes the stress of a pull The little spring was tight on the cable and held the sheld in location I just soldered the shield and spring on to the fitting... Solder just flowed with the induction soldering iron through the shield... All the way around trhe connectror... Now I got to build some sort of inductive handle or portable bracket Before my next copper task... What do ya say... 220 timer voltage / thermostat regulator fiberglass shield round the element Pretty awsome... You guys earned your " PROSPERITY PAYMENT... "

Can you give intro on the induction heater you use to braze copper?

It looks as if the branch is moved about. Is that deliberate?

Hello, it was very good What is the resonance frequency for copper pipe welding?

OK, so as per my comment on Al. Cu. is a metal, conducts power but is not magnetic .... so we get told it doesn't work with induction heaters, have mixed feelings on that score, hence watching this. YES it works, so what's the difference in getting copper to heat here but not as a cooking pan? I've tried it with my 1kW heater .... and not much joy. have heated Cu pots over a steel plate on induction hob. Mixed feelings.

They are looking for a magnetic pan being present before turning on as a safety feature.

you need higher frequency to heat copper efficiently, it's pretty hard to heat copper with induction effectively.
