Thanks for the comment, the result of the brazing is absolutely similar compared to flame heating so if one technology works, then the other aswell, you can ask our customers in refrig. industry.

It's melting the silfos into the joint. Why not? The silver solder doesn't care the source of heat, as long as it melts and you get cap action.

Think I would pass. You are basically silver soldering at brazing temps. Would have to flood lines with nitrogen to avoid oxidizes forming inside the lines. Will stick with Sta-Brite 8 and a much colder heat source to avoid annealing the copper.
