Love the Arabian influence of this one. And her voice is just...
As a French, none of my friends listen to her cuz they consider her as "bad" without listening to her, thye don't know the songs but they'll be like "man it's Indila", but whenever i had the few chances to make it listen to 1 or 2 person(s), they were a bit surprised from her voice. Indila is awesome srsly, one of the best singer we've ever had in a while

For those who are looking for the true meaning of " tourner dans le vide" It's a French idiomatic expressions which means that she's loosing her mind for the man she's speaking of in the lyrics

Dereck. I don't even dare suggest you react to "Parle à ta tête" from Idila. You're at risk of having a heart attack. This song is very "Edith Piaf" like.
Her studio versions do have a very danceable RnB beat to them. When she performs this and Derniere Danse live I've seen it done acoustically with two classic guitarists playing. It really gives the songs a different more positive mood, whereas the beats and brass in the studio versions give it a darker more grand tone.
So so so BEAUTIFUL SONG !!! So intense and magical !!! I really love Indila !
Indila is for me the best French singer of the 21st century (even if she still has only a small career ^^). You haven't finished appreciating it. 😁 My favorite song of her is "SOS". 😎
This is the last video of a 4 interconnected videos. The first one is " Parle a ta tete". At the end of the video we see a door and a job offer. The second one is " derniere danse". We see at the beginning of the video, Indila kicked out of the same door. At the end of the song, a piece of paper is blowing in the wind. The third one is " love story". At the beginning of the video , we see the piece of paper land on the desk of a child. The last one is this one. We see Indila with the same clothes and suitcase of "derniere danse" and " parle a ta tete".

"Tourner dans le vide" follows "Dernière danse" because of her suitcase and her jacket and "Love story" follows "SOS" because of the arrow at the end.

Yes she can sing R&B. Nice see. She begin in R&B movance in France, between 2005 and 2010 before her first solo album, she had lot of featuring with french rappers. Like Rohff, and Youssoupha. You can hear "Dreamin" Youssoupha or "Thug mariage" with Rohff. Indila carry this song with her voice, I discover her with them, so I'm very happy for her solo carrier.

Very good choice, I like INDILA and yes several titles are the continuation of last dance. The link is the photo which flies away at the end that we see reappearing in love story for example. Another good title which is charming it's "sos"

Le problème est qu'il faut bien comprendre les paroles hyper travaillées dans les morceaux de Nougaro. Or avec un anglophone, c'est mal barré. Il ne va pas bien comprendre à quel point les mots sont précisément choisis et ciselés pour coller et maintenir le rythme du morceau.
