We're taking a look at the Hasbro Indiana Jones Adventure Series Henry Jones Sr action figure in this video.
I've not gone crazy all in on the Indiana Jones Adventure Series line, but I have very warm, fond, nostalgic fuzzies for the Last Crusade movie and had pretty much pre-decided that if they did a Henry Jones Sr I was going to be picking one up. It's one of Sean Connery's most iconic roles, and just the kind of display piece I was looking for to compliment my Indiana Jones fig from the very first wave.
In this vid I will unbox the Henry Jones Sr figure, discuss my impressions of the action figure experience, and run down the facts. (Such as his aesthetic, articulation, and accessories.) It's a thorough review, with all the pro's and con's as I see them discussed.

With a little dry brushing or weathering compounds, you can make a real improvement in the facial features. Great review!

Nothing screams action figure like an umbrella accessory. I cannot see Sean Connery and not hear his little "Just give them a little shlap" or think about that SNL skit of Sean Connery on Jeopardy.

Yep - Sean certainly held some misguided old-fashioned views, didn't he? 😬 I never saw his SNL appearance (it's not so ubiquitous over here) I'll go take a look...

I have to vocalize my disdain for the statement (or any one similar) “It’s just a lot of DUDES in suits.” “Old guys in suits.” “Guys ….in suits.” The thing about that is …well…YES, YES the film characters ARE in fact wearing costumes & wardrobes that are suits or have dress suit components 😅 for chrissakes!!! BUT it is 2023. The first 🎬 Indiana Jones film came out back in 1981 and over the years as subsequent films were released, fandom grew. People had love and adoration for the characters (including the costume designers choices), lore and worlds they inhabit, adventures the hero’s and villains went on. Many of those fans? Action figure fans. The mere fact we have a Marcus Brody, Professor Indiana Jones, Belloq in that slick ass Cairo suit with submachine gun, Henry F-IN’ Jones Sr. is truly a gift for those film and toy fans alike. So anyone who throws out a “Ahhh duhhh dudes inna sewt!! 🤨☝🏻🥴😵💫!” comment may as well be saying “Coconuts are brown!!! 🥥 on the outside AND they’re fuzzy!!!” No shit! I myself have bought multiples of every single Hasbro 2008 “Indiana Jones” action figure, vehicle, playset you name it…I bought it. Same goes for this Grail Line here in 2023. Would a 5 yr old who plays with ..oh I don’t know what kids play with or are interested in…but whatever it is, we all are aware a Marcus Brody with Rene Belloq 2-pack with green apple, ancient scripture book that’s articulated and machine gun wouldn’t be the 1st thing they’d probably grab. For consumers like me? The line is a hit. I’m not buying “Duuuh doooodzz eeen sewts!”, I’m parting with my $ to procure a multi character extensive, beautifully rendered, articulated LONG overdue 6-inch action figures based off of arguably the greatest action adventure films of all time. And I am pretty thankful they made them ❤ Thanks for the video of Henry chum. I wish all much Fortune & Glory 🙏🏼🌟 Ps-love them cool action poses you put Henry Sr. in 🔥😆🥳 When I get mine? He will be armed with either that cool machine gun Indy & Belloq came with or even one of Kazim’s weapons!

I’m currently having to use un-helmeted Star Wars Black Series Death Star Troopers as generic soldier stand-ins to get beaten up by Indy and his pals 🤷🏻♂️ so….my Henry Sr. has cannon fodder on stand by and ready to mowed down 💥😆 Keep up the great work and look forward to your next review!
