Welcome to the latest action figure unboxing & review from MoDXtra. In this instalment we are taking a look at the recent Green Lantern (Silver Age) from McFarlane Toys' DC Direct series.
After some wait my pre-order of the Green Lantern action figure has finally arrived. Outside of a few specific, niche DC Comics interests the large focus of my McFarlane Toys DC collecting (DC Multiverse & DC Direct, which is identical at the 7" scale LOL) is classic look costume stuff - so I was eagerly anticipating this one. No classic look Justice League display is complete without some Green Lantern presence, and Hal Jordan was my guy when it came to Green Lanterns in the 80s & 90s (although I do have a soft spot for Guy Gardner - you gotta love the Giffen-era obnoxious Guy!).
This review will involve a unboxing of the Green Lantern action figure, an overall view of the figure, and then some detailed thoughts around his aesthetic, articulation, and accessories. (My action figure review Triple A's LOL) My reviews are quite thorough - so sit tight for the full man-child nerd view.
