My Owl man figure (Wal-Mart exclusive) didn't come with anything but a stand and card (and the figure itself) wish Todd added something.

John looks like real live movie actor. While Hal is more comic-booky...love them both

*Both of the Jon Stewart effects came with one of the Red Hood figures. I use the effects for Red Tornado cuz it looks like wind imo.*

Arkham Knight Red Hood to be specific, it was supposed to simulate the Arkham Freeflow combat aesthetic but, it isn't amazing. I use it with some red lightning effects on my Atrocitus

I'm totally getting that Hal Jordan figure, I kinda wished they chose a slightly later appearance when they added the green on the shoulders but other than that its perfect.

The John in JLA wave still baffles me. The least Mcfarlane could have done was release him in his current/animated outfit, which was what he wore when he actually did join the JLA (post Morrison and Kyle).

Ideally, Kyle would have been in this wave, John would have been in the Kilowog 2-pack, with long-haired Superman in this wave (and not on the DKR body), the Batman from the Spawn two pack, and then Superman Red and Blue as Target and Walmart exclusives respectively.

@@5POAFigureReviews YES, those would have been better pairings! I will argue that Superman Blue is appropriate for the JLA wave, though, as he was in the JLA the entire time he had that look and that Morrison utilized his energy form much better than the actual Superman titles.

I've looked at every green lantern action figure dolly out there and I'm sure this classic mcfartlane is the best ever made. From the scale to the build😂🟢💯👍

Since I've been spending the last three years yapping for a new classic Hal Jordan, so now that we're here I don't what to do anymore. Guess its time to start yelling for Guy next. P.S. A part of me want to buy 2 johns and put the hal head on one of them. I prefer for my green lanterns to be consistent over them being different. Or I could hold out and wait for them to use that body for hal jordan.

I'm in the same boat. My problem is even if it's accurate to that period, I don't like that logo for Hal. So then I would want to get another Endless Wintec John or Two Pack Hal and try to cut the logo off and glue it over, making that custom even more expensive lol

Is Hal’s chest black painted green or green painted black. I haven’t got the figure yet and if I do I just want to make his entire chest green

Have you noticed that a lot of figures in this line come with left holding thing hands (if they dont come with both)? I wonder if it becouse Todd is left handed?

​@@5POAFigureReviews to be honest he is kind of a forgettable figure which sucks since red hood is my favorite character and mcfralane had potential to make him a great figure. But good video tho, definetily will pick up hal since im only 3 members off from having all the core jl members 🫡

Actually the Digital action figures are waaay better than a JPG, the send you a SCULTURE of the figure and you can Download to a Sculping program like Blender or Zbrush and thad model to me Has alot of EDUCATIONAL VALUE (Me an 3D artist and Student) I think some times the peopole dont know how to apreciate things, the Digital figure is an option as the completion of the baf i mean i got a lot of Baf Pieces i will never use cuz i don care about the caracther an thats fine.

Thank you for commenting. I legit did not know that you could download the model and import it to sculpting programs. From that perspective, I can def see some added value. And you also make a great point about loose BAF pieces. I know I have a box of those myself. Good food for thought.

I have one question, did mcfarlane made a good superman? I know they made good batman, flash abd wonder woman but not supes so in curious, nice video btw!

It’s not just about having digital version of a figure. It’s really also Todd Mcfarlane trying to get with the times, I mean with everything these days be digital such as movies and tv shows. It does make sense why Todd would want some of that to sell which is basically a digital picture of a character!

Waiting on my Hal for my Justice League display, but I do hope they put out a version of Hal on the textured body John uses, mostly because it would work better in a GL Corp display if everyone had some kind of texture, which is why I prefer the Endless Winter John. I feel like that more tactical bodysuit fits John while the other texture fits for Hal and Kyle. Now all we need is Guy. Preferably a more modern version of him and not the Bowlcut and Snowboots style Guy had. Also, wish you did the new John head on the Endless Winter John body. I wanted to see how that would look and I do really like the new headsculpt on the new John.

The logo being painted looks cheap.

I think it's the black outline that cheapens it for me, but I'm overall okay with it

Obviously Hal Jordan, even as a character, is much better too.

Don’t understand why u gave them a draw on flexibility when u mentioned and demonstrated that Hal can raise his arms higher plus better rotated cup at the shoulders. So it’s not a draw .
