Indian Motorcycle has raised the bar for American V-Twin performance cruisers with its latest release in 2023, the Indian Sport Chief. This new bike is packed with premium components from well-known brands like KYB, which provides inverted front forks also found on Indian Challenger models. The Sport Chief delivers unparalleled handling and ride performance thanks to these top-of-the-line components.
The Sport Chief also features dual-disc, four-piston, semi-floating caliper, radial-mounted Brembo brakes in the and single two piston caliper in the rear that inspires confidence and provides powerful stopping power. The rear is equipped stock with dual piggyback FOX shocks increasing travel to four-inches and lean angle to 29.5-degrees, this Indian Chief offers an even more aggressive riding experience than ever before.
the 2023 Indian Sport Cheif comes available in 4 new colors. Inverted forks that don't look like ass. Nice looking smallish fairing. Fox rear piggyback shocks. Dual calipers upfront. Damn I think this thing is actually a match for the Low Rider S, it might even be better with the Ride Command. I have a Scout Rogue, wish I had this.

This is clearly a direct competitor to that bike yes. Probably $900 more for inflation, ride command w/ touch screen, brembo brakes, fox shocks, forks, etc. IMO it's more than justified considering it won't leak oil like the HD. Also looks way better imo. Can't wait to see guys stunting on these.

The LRS sticker price is bs. It doesn't count ABS which they make you pay an extra $800 more for, so it's not like that bike is actually any cheaper.

@@RickyBobber Much of the COMPUTER TECH is an OPTION, Like traction modes, and ABS on the Low Rider S. WHICH FOR ME IS A GOOD THING, many like 14 pounds of electronic tech. I prefer not... it saves a battery, and as a retired graphic artist my computers are all the tech I need. Many like all that, thats fine. I do like the battery tender plug on the Indian. I wonder if changing a battery is an issue with codes that make it a dealer job only. Guess these will be questions I will ask when I try one. BOTH COMPANIES WILL HAVE TO WORK TO GET MY CASH. What I find sad is both dealers in my area lose interest when I tell them this will be cash... What no financing..they deflete.
Man I really don't want to trade in my scout bobber because it is my very first bike.........That being said I really want to trade up for this bike, so torn!!!!

Not sure. However the wheel size is different and forks are different so probably not, if I were to guess
Honestly pretty disappointed for one reason. They didn’t use the power plus 108 out of the challenger. If this is a performance bike that was the right motor

Pretty sure that wouldn't be possible. Unless it was a different bike all together. Air cooled vs liquid cooled. The frames would be different. I do agree having a middle weight cruiser with the powerplus would be epic. But that's a ground up project. Maybe in the future
