India and the USA are two countries which are progressive in their own way. USA of course is a super power and India in the recent past has imbibed a lot from the western ways of living. However, in this video I am going to compare the Modern American ways of living with our Ancient Indian style of living in 7 major categories. I will also share with you my personal take on the matter so that we can get the best of both the worlds.
00:32 - CLOTHES. The way Indians and Americans dress show a lot about their mindsets. There are various reasons to why Americans preferred a certain types of clothes while Indians were more comfortable in another type of clothes.
01:31 - FOOD. There is a major difference in the ideologies of these two countries which is evident in the food choices the people living in India and USA make.
02:50 - EATING STYLE. There is a stark difference in the eating habits of ancient Indians and modern Americans. Why Americans prefer eating on a dining table? Why Indians pressed on eating on floor? Why Americans used cutlery while Indians believed that it's more appropriate to eat with hands?
03:39 - SUSTAINABILITY vs CONVENIENCE. There are many distinct habits of modern Americans and ancient Indians that suggest that Americans are more inclined towards convenience while Indians believed in sustainable living.
05:00 - WAYS OF LIVING. Indians are driven by certain set of principals while the Americans are driven by a different ideology. This is evident in their day to day life of people of both these countries.
06:01 - AREAS OF INNOVATION. There is no doubt about the fact that America has produced some of the most innovative products in the last century. America is the hub of new products and is a heart of innovation across the globe. Although, you will be surprised to know that even Ancient Indian innovation has been par excellence.
07:02 - PROACTIVE vs REACTIVE APPROACH. There are many ways one can conclude that Indians were more proactive whereas Americans have been reactive in approaching health and wellbeing.
09:08 - WHAT IS THE SOLUTION? How to find a balance between productivity, health and wellbeing?

It was the only place ide traveled to at 24 yes old the .I can say without a doubt in my mind that the 11 week trip changed me as a person. I fell in love with India...I still have a love affair with India 25 years later just as the British fell in love with India. Maybe in past life I was Indian. . India is a beautiful place with so many good traditions that the west does not have. Infact as a westerner ide say the west is a disease. I tell my Indian mates why the hell do you want to come to these shit hole materialistic countries. To be honest I'd love to go back right now in middle of the plandemic, my soul would feel more at ease. They may not have everything but they absolutely have everything. Before I die I will go to the the place I fell in love with and they were the happiest years of life. To all the Indians reading my post your country is beautiful don't leave for the west, there are more evils here than you think you are running from . Namaste 🙏

From childhood, media and every relative around me made me believe that success means immigrating abroad and I moved for studies to Europe in my late teens but its only after few years of living there I understood what treasure I had left back home. I came back home during corona break and now without a heart to go back and I have stayed back here in India for good. I'm cherishing my decision every day since then! Abundant sunlight, getting to be soaked in the energy of these beautiful temples, not wasting money on meaninglessly expensive makeup anymore, and not having to be on track with industry made trends. This raw & wild vibe is what makes more sense to me from existential notion. Economically developed nations are like a beautiful garden, very much in order and well planned. Whereas India is like a forest, thick & chaotic but there's some incredible order in that chaos that millions of organism survive together in some sort of understanding among them. Ours is simply a culture that was designed by evolved beings keeping spiritual well-being at the core. So in my opinion there’s not a fair ground for comparison between these two nations. Both of them have their own charm ☺️

We never walked (most of us still don't) with our shoes inside, but more and more people started doing so, it's gross!! We always cooked from scratch, but young people nowdays prefer processed food which is sad. We never consumed much meat, but today people eat meat every day, and worst processed meat. I am vegeterian for 2 years, and I accepted yogic lifestyle, and I can not wait to finish college and come to India to experience Indian rich culture and take my spirituality on a higher level if you can say it like that. :)

Even though I’m here on the US I have completely immersed myself in Indian culture. It started with the spirituality and now everything. It just gives me the most comfort on the inside and makes me feel at home. I consider India my mother and I seek to be just like her. ❤

@@djokerdevil If you love india so much then you obviously should not leave India. That is why many indians face racism and discrimination in the west because they just don't want to assimilate they think that India is the best country
