I used oral fenugreek to keep my breast milk production up. I was producing over 8oz from each breast when my son was over a year... My hair went from above my shoulders to the middle of my back in less than a yr. I always thought it was pregnancy and vitamins, but maybe it was the fenugreek capsules that I was taking!

I think the reason people are finding it hard to get a smooth paste is because they are not blending an overnight soaked fenugreek seeds. So I have been using this seeds for other healthy purposes but haven't gotten around to using it on my hair. After an overnight soak in a water jar with a tablespoon of fenugreek seeds, drain the water in a cup and drink it on an stomach in the morning for healthy benefits like encouraging weight loss, aids in digestion, reduce cholesterol & menstrual cramps and so much more. Then blend the soaked seeds with water till you feel a fine paste. Add some essentials oils (2 or 3) of your choice to the paste and stir well.Apply evenly to your hair & leave for 30 - 60 mins with your hair covered. I did this for the first time yesterday and washing off the paste from my hair before shampooing was no struggle at all, just wash it with lukewarm properly. The instant results were amazing. I did not have to use comb for the first time during or after washing cos my fingers ran through my hair so freely and my curls game was tiiigggghhhhtttt. Besides sleeping with a silk hair bonnet (very important), all I had to do this morning was spray my hair with little water and style my hair which took less than 5 mins. Thanks Curly Proverbz for the advise.

Thank you so much for making ayurveda accessible for ordinary people. I remember back when those commercial petroleum based amla oil products were the closest I would get to using any sort of herbal treatment. Yikes! That feels like a different lifetime, learning about plants and the synchronicity with our human bodies has been so enriching. Wisdom is it's own reward, of course, but it is such a blessing when our hair, skin and nails can shine like this. I love methi seeds too! It really is such an unassuming but powerful ingredient to add. Thank you for the new video upload! Sending wishes of love and happiness to you and your beautiful family xx

If your about natural please don't use nylon stockings. They have chemicals in them including flame retardant chemicals if you're going to go through your precious time of making these wonderful natural treatments please don't contaminate them with chemicals. You can use cheesecloth, muslin cloth and they have some eco-friendly non-chemical coffee filters for those who don't want their coffee running through chemicals . I've used that in a pinch before too.

There’s a method for making a super smooth paste with fenugreek that I learned from from this youtuber Ann Myst (Her name is now Vyala B) where you soak or simmer your fenugreek seeds in hot water and then blend them with olive oil while slowly adding more hot water to the blender. I get a perfectly smooth paste every time and I don’t need to worry about trying to comb out any chunks or anything.

I've been using this method for about a month. I must say, my strands are loving it. I've been natural for 2 and a half years and I feel my growth has been slow. Since using fenugreek seeds (along with marshmallow root, hibiscus, and lavandar, for just a month) , I've noticed my hair has grown. It's also much more hydrated. I started with CP's suggested oil mixture, almond oil, coconut oil, and olive oil (I ran out of jojoba and black castor oil) and my porosity has changed. It doesn't take long for my hair to become saturated when washing anymore. I have not yet incorporated essential oils, but I'm going to, as my son does not like the smell of Fenugreek! I'm trying to get my hair to reach the middle of my back by my 40th (2 years to go). I believe this method will help me achieve my goals. Thank you CP.

I strongly recommend in addition to topical application of fenugreek infused oil with some drops log peppermint and lavender. As well as the tea rinse I would recommend meditation daily to decrease stress. And really talking through coping strategies and ways if decreasing daily stress. Perhaps he can look into outlets such as boxing or running. It really will make a difference taking a holistic approach. I would also recommend a multivitamin and mineral complex and juicing more often. Please please email me in a couple of months and let me know how you get on beautiful ❤️❤️❤️

I have given you a million thumbs up, but now it's time for my comment! I have been watching these videos for months now and was inspired to go to the Indian store and purchase the fenugreek seeds. I took about 3 tablespoons of the seeds and poured them in a clean Tostitos Jar full of warm water. I allowed to seeds to sit for 2 days, then I drained them and transferred the water into a spray bottle along with a couple drops of peppermint oil and rosemary oil. Every couple days I spray my hair from the roots down my braids. ( I actually have box braids in my hair as my protective Style). I also infused the fenugreek seed along with coconut oil and the essential oils as well. So, I use the combination of the spritz, then the oil to lock it in. When I took my braids out after 2 months, it was almost shocking how much hair was in my comb. My hair was so strong it was scary! Not only that, but my hair grew about inch and a half almost 2 inches. Thank you so much Curly for all of your recipes 😍😍😍 my hair is starting to grow so fast that I have to get my braids redone once a month!

I add Aloe vera to my water or you can make a paste and mix it with aloe vera and Chebe. Very little dime size breakage in my hair and retaining so much length. I also have a herbal oil mix that I message the scalp and then use my fenugreek paste with the Chebe.

I have been using fenugreek in a hair mask to deep condition my hair and yes the benefits over the past 2 months have been amazing as well as the growth I have experienced. With regards to washing the fenugreek out of your hair I have found if I sifted the mixture through a stocking sock it will get all the residue out of your mask resolving that issue. Best wishes xx 😘

While reading some of the comments for MSM, someone recommended you and I'm so glad they did. Weave has been my frienemy. (You know what I mean). I just don't want to do it anymore. I want to grow my hair out and wear my natural hair. I've watched about 3 videos so far and really like what you have to say. I ordered ingredients tonight from amazon and looking forward to trying. My girls have hair but interested in boosting what they already have. I'm actually excited! I actually use a nylon stocking to strain out the grits and clumps when I add herbs, Henna or fenugreek to my deep conditioners- just like You would strain flax seed gel for example. It helps to illuminate a lot of the problems when rinsing the hair out. Personally I also think it is more beneficial to the hair because common sense tells me that those larger flakes, grits and particles are abrasive when being applied and dragged across the hair shaft. I have tried your oil recipes and I love them. I live by the aloe vera spray’s and Teas. Im gonna try a variation of this conditioner recipe. Love u, Sis! Thanks for the knowledge as always!! 💞

I’m currently using the fenugreek mask and this mask is absolutely amazing! The best way to remove the seeds residue before using it in your hair is to strain it first. I use a stocking cap as a strainer. The bigger seed particles can’t get through the fabric after blending it, so you’ll only be left with the cream or paste. It’s a very messy step to strain the fenugreek blend but it’s worth it and it works!

Thank you CP, I’m from Nairobi Kenya and you are one of my go-to’s, together with Green Beauty, for aryuveda treatments. Actually you got me started and my hair is 6 inches long but felt I needed to up my hair game so when I started looking for info on henna, guess who popped up! Yup! 🥳🥳🥳 I was truly bombarded by all the info you have on Aryuveda. I immediately went out to get Amla, henna and aloe Vera powder and juice! I’ve used them as the paste so far and it was harder for the Amla mix to get out than for the henna mix. It’s been 2 months and my hair is thriving 🙌🏾🙌🏾 😃😃 Today I came here for fenugreek and shikaikai as I’m looking to add them to my regimen and I’m so glad to get this information and recipes. Wow wow wow! I’m super excited to get started on my fenugreek tomorrow and shikaikai for next treatment! Thank you CP! You are such a gem 💎😘🤩🤩

Thanks for the vid CP! I have been using fenugreek powder Along with aloe Vera, several Ayurvedic herbs, honey and castor oil as my diy deep conditioner. My hair has flourished since using this concoction 2-3 times a month. I also infuse my diy hair oil with fenugreek seeds. Fenugreek, henna, honey and aloe Vera are everything to my hair. Thanks CP!!❤️🙏💕

Can you share the recipe? I don't have the seeds, just powder.

Thank you as ALWAYS!!! Do you recommend the same process for these if I have the Methi powder instead? ❤️
