Yesterday was a historic day because this election was not about whether the BJP or NDA government needed it; the pertinent question was whether Modi had a mandate from the people of India.
Modi 3.0 government is certain, but his popularity has waned, and Indians are dissatisfied with his governance, which is why he did not get the majority, this time. I hope 3.0 will have less tyranny and more government. I hope, at least Modi's influence would be less, and checks and balances would be formed again to contain Modi for a better government.
