No this isn't truth, reality is been hidden by powerful people. This is just for saying that now india has 3000 Tigers, some sanctuaries have hidden the real detail that how many tiger are there.

There were more than 1lakh tigers in India until the Mughals and British arrived. They killed above 95% tigers in India.

Till 1800s Tiger used to roam just outside my City in Northern India. Now even sparrow has disappeared.
Well their popluation are increasing now ...our country use to have lakhs to tigers until the british started hunting them as a game .....rascals

Report 2019:- 2967 tigers in India. Increased upto 33%. But yes lot more work to do.

@@pinheadlarry1977 absolutely. It was over hundreds thousands. Our country used to be home of them. Climate wise n all perfect. Has reduced drastically. Now with all the efforts it's increasing but as I said lot more work to be done. To reach at that point where we were.. hopefully will reach.
Next tiger census results will be declared in Jan-2019 ... Hoping to cross 3000 Tigers mark in India!!

An excellent documentary and well filmed. Tiger numbers since then have increased in India. We keep filming tigers around the parks of India. Our recent ones include close encounters with Matkasur, a dominant male in Tadoba which we have featured in our channel. Matkasur's story has been one in which he has conquered many battles and as we speak the story goes on. The last we filmed was just before the COVID-19 pandemic broke a few weeks ago. All parks in India are since then closed.

were i am leaving there used to be tiger in near by forest as per my fathers and grandfathers but current they are not. the distruction of wild habitat is on such a extent, i hardly see any butterfly, rabbits, fox. even some of fish species are hardly seen by me in this 10 years. in india everything is on paper, you will see it in great detail but reality on ground is quiet different.
