Do you use “multiply MAP” in ITB mode or do you leave that off?

I have already added a comment regarding my doubts, but my hint to anyone dealing with ITBs on Megasquirt: build and airbox around them and use a proper calibrated MAF... at that very moment you have a very accurate MAF load for fuelling and igniton...

all you have to do in an ITB conversion is to simulate MAP and IAT readings (yes there is a way ....)

Thanks for this excellent overview. ITB tuning is not discussed much. Was hoping you'd discuss iac on itb's.

long shot but can a itb be setup in any motor? i know intensive modding would be have to be done but i have a spare 2000 mustang that i wanna work on and thought this would be unique as i haven’t seen one with itb

Hello Andy, if i have a rb26 (itb+turbo) should my right curve be flat at 50%? Or slightly opposite to your setup?

Was interested in running ITBs on my Miata but can’t find anyone in Louisville to help me figure out which ones to buy or how to set them up. Do you know of anyone in or around Kentucky, Ohio or Indiana that can help?

Hi, if you want to understand what is happening in the ECU, the explanation in the video does not really help. :((.. 1.)let me start with the fact the that collecting that 90kPa vs TPS vs RPM curve from datalog is practically impossible on a fresh untuned engine.. who would run those loads/RPMs if you just started setting up the ITB? 2.) the ITB settings panel together with the instructions (both on the GUI and from video) is just a recipe but does it make any sense? the left curve shows a TPS percentage at certain RPMs which resulted in 90kPa..ok so what? will that be the switch point to jump from SD to Alpha-N? no answer on that.. 3.) the right curve is a bit clearer.. ITB Load versus RPM to decide if we are going go SD or Alpha-N. But what is ITB Loaf..is it TPS%? if yes, this whole table is just overrides the one on the left side..one would be enough :(.. or what is it MAP? My best guess is that yes, it is MAP load and then you do not directly use the TPS switchpoint curve (from the left table) but you will modulate it with the right one...*somehow.. but how? neither the video nor the manual has the answer. my 2 cents.
