Total & Absolute BAD ASSERY of an (underrated) Masterpiece of an 80s Tunage....Absolutely Ahead of its time and full of creativy & funkyness....The guitar solo is absolutely BRILLANT as well as the main Synth Riffage that is incredibly catchy & melodic....Pure Aussie GENIUS !!!

This is one of my go to songs when I test out any new HiFi equipment. Also reminds me of when I was a young kid, being born in 1985. Love the slap bass in this song, the little detailed parts and how it just keeps sounding better when I play it through a different system!

Sheesh this an oldie - found it when searching to show my husband something. I was 11 when this was released and us girls loved them (along with Bros, naturally ;) ). Cue MAJOR excitement when my best friend's mum said "Oh I know those boys"...her sister was their manager and we were all like "AND YOU NEVER TOLD US?!!!". So that we dined out on for ages, my friend & I changed schools (I went to boarding school, she moved to Sydney where her aunt was) and even when I'd gone past that stage it was still pretty cool getting signed photos of them and pics of my friend with them. I remember when this came out and her aunt said to watch the chick in the back - she managed her and she was doing backup vocals for them, the aunt said "remember her name, she'll do well", so we all knew who the backup singer was - it is of course Jo Beth-Taylor. She signed of one the photos I was sent where my friend was pictured with them all, she was in the pic then - in hindsight she must have only been about 19-20, if that. For those asking, yes it is her voice you hear and she is the one with blond hair seen at various stages of the song. Not dreadlocks, they were thousands of tiny plaits, she had them in for the first pics then had them out in later ones. She wasn't a member of the band, they just had the same manager and her voice fitted best with the song so she did the backup vocals, she was originally trained/managed as a singer from memory but obviously later became more a tv personality and exceed their success. I didn't follow them after about 1990 other than what my friend told me and sent me (God I feel old, I still have those old letters & photos somewhere lol) - I do believe she did do backup vocals for at least 2 other songs.

Gosh! Mine was Andrew Coyne! You see my parents (or most likely my Mom) were diggin' Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin), Hendrix, Brian May (Queen), and all those other great Bands. So I got into liking dark-haired Guitarists. There's just something about them. Quiet, Dark, and that LOAD of Talent! In a corner of the eye throughout a Band's blazing concert that really gets me! And I can't help but look! They just command and can pull attention. My Dad used to tie his wavy hair around the back of his neck. When he unties.... I get to see why Mom married him. Man! A few girls rang in and said they went to school with the drummer from Indecent Obsession...after a while the DJ ask if anyone out there could ring in only of you didn't go to school with the drummer from indecent obsession..lol , one of those thing's I've always remembered but can't remember the radio station it was on , maybe JJJ.
