My son would have been 41 years old today. Sadly he passed away 7/19/07 at 9:11 am. Incubus was one of his favorite bands. I'm sitting by his memorial tree and paying tribute to him by listening to some of his favorite tunes. He would love that. Miss him dearly. 😘🙏

I can't imagine how u feel. I have 2 daughters.. i dont know what I'd do. My first born had 3 heart surgeries but she pulled through. She has half a heart...I hear this sing and think of my wife and how we helped each other through..

My wife and I got together in 2006 and this has been our song for many years now. We both suffer from mental illness (our sickness) and rely on each other to help dig us out when we are having mental issues. Totally gives this song special meaning to us. Amazing how a band named Incubus has so may songs speaking on goodness and self healing. They speak of someone digging at us. Unconditional love, when we truly love ourselves and others, we shine our light on (with love) the dark areas in other people we KNOW are capable of so much more. The light in us feels the need to DIG them out of their ego self that causes so much grief.

What a beautiful example of a relationahip

This song is my marriage put to music... Two imperfect people (one with autism, then other with bipolar disorder) trying to learn to accept each other's flaws and build a life and a family together. Sometimes I'm down, sometimes she's down. We both get buried sometimes under the weight of this place called the real world, but we know that the "us" that we fell in love with is still there, just beneath the surface, so whenever one of us is off the other is there to dig them out of it. We both dig at each other sometimes, but at least we dig each other :). This song reminds us that we will always have each other, when everything else is gone.

Isn't it wonderful when you hear a good song first.....then later on you understand that it understands YOU? This is maturity. This song was taught to me by my dad. Since being 10 ish years old. Thankful to the greater power or God that I still have him, with my mother and i still see them over and over whenever i desire. Especially when they dug me my own weaknesses.

This music, his voice, is almost too emotional to listen to.

This song is the most spiritual song i have ever heard and felt. Thank you Incubus

Same here, knew the band from radio hits but it wasn't until I saw them live in 09 that I realized how gifted they really are. Truly inspiring music

My son just joined the Air Force. He is just 17 years old. Last year he invited me to see Incubus in Tucson, which is funny because Incubus is MY favorite band. It was his first ever concert. I miss him so much. I am going to get a tattoo with some lyrics from this song to keep him close while he is far away. These are the lyrics "Remind me that we'll always have each other When everything else is gone,"

I use to drive in Colorado, the mountains singing this song as loud as I could belt it

When my wife gets mad at me which is often I play this song and suddenly things are right in our world again. Love u. Honey

Guitarist is like the edge of U2... Once in a while they show up and blossom... He's terrific !!!

This is one of those songs that speaks to everyone. Everyone needs a therapist- whether paid, through a friend, a family member, or this song! I worry for those that don't have somebody to talk too, and I hope you find your people.

This could be the only song that I could listen too for the rest of my life

Yea , this is one of those songs u can listen to when ur having just about any emotion. Sad, happy, angry. It works.

It's almost a crime being so beautiful the way you are, Brandon Boyd.

If i remember when this song first came out, they had a contest for the music video. They had the band playing in front of a green screen and asked their fans to create artwork and animation for the background. This of course was the winner.

The song is about forgiveness and compassion. From the video I always saw it as someone that is depressed and love shows up to dig him up and save him. I hope love comes soon for me. I'm getting older and time is running out.

I couldn't listen to this song for almost 10 years because I saw you guys live with my ex fiance one week before she unexplainably walked out of my life and never gave me a reason. Was an awesome show too your photographer gave us pit passes for free we were 10 feet from the stage, best show ever and then she ripped my heart out and used it as toilet paper. 10 years later I walked away from an abusive partner this past Saturday that made my life hell every day for 8 years and for whatever reason I can finally listen to this again. Missed it alot.

Death_Dealer Just be yourself man. Try your best to wear nice clothes, get your haircut etc. It doesnt' cost much. A t-shirt and a pair of jeans doesn't cost much. Then just be yourself, it's all you can be. Don't be nervous around girls, they're only girls and be honest to them. I know this doesn't sound like great advice but there's a girl out there for everyone.

I've always loved this song, but when my boyfriend and I saw Incubus perform it live, 4 feet in front of us, it struck me that it was our song! I cried, it was magical.
