I’m a black man from the south side of Chicago. I moved to the suburbs when I was 14 years old. I started listening to other things besides rap music. I also opened my mind and started to hang around different people. I was also blessed to have a diverse group of friends. Been listening to these guys ever since.

I got started at 10 by my white friend Sarah. We'd watch No Doubt vids at her house and I was hooked! I can't imagine not being introduced to rock music, it's amazing. I've seen well over 100 bands live.

One of my favorite songs all time! It wasn’t that underrated when it came out, but time erases the good stuff!

These boys were so damn versatile. They could go hard or smooth without batting an eye. Highly under rated IMO.

This song was actually recorded because they had all fallen out having been recording most of the Morning View album. They all lived in a huge house for ages and got pissed at being around each other. They wrote this song when they made up (apparently in a small room on the top floor of whatever house they were staying in). Not that I'm weird or anything, just that bit of info stuck with me. Guess because we all go through shit with friends and when we come through it, 'Are you in?' seems like a fitting feeling.

Imagine my surprise back in 2001 when I popped my CD of Morning View into my parent's computer so I could burn another copy and I discovered the music video for this song on there. And here I am, twenty years later still enjoying it.

When you are young you tought that you are inmortal. This songs remind me about my early adulthood, the most darkest and beautiful times in my life.

This song helped me through a phase in my life, made me realize that its better to include everyone regardless of whether you know/like them or not.

The bass line on the very beginning of this song is too powerful for me! I need to repeat this first seconds every time.

Every time I hear Incubus, I think of my baby brother. Born and raised in Cali, he just passed away in February, but this music makes me feel so much better. I love you Zach, I hope I see you again buddy. Love you Incubus.

Incubus is still to this day one of the best bands out there

when I was little, my parents (especially my dad) would play this song a lot. eventually they broke up (they weren't the best together) and my mom didn't play this song as much anymore. it took me awhile to find it again finally. thank you, incubus.

to me the song is basically saying that It's so much better when everyone is "in" whether that is in love, being loved, getting along, and "cool" with one another. The lyric about everything being easier when seafoam green is in fashion says a lot!!!

I am infinitely and beyond grateful to have seen this band perform live and in person multiple times. Always a good time. ALWAYS.

So laid back... His voice just makes you feel the connection with the style of his own personal feelings..

This is probably 1 of my all time favorite happy songs. I played it at my wedding reception to let my husband know that if I'm having a bad day to throw this on 😂

This song never grows old.

It's absolutely amazing that this song was ever released as a single, or that it got a big budget video treatment. "Popular" music sure has changed in the last 10-15 years. I'm not saying that's good or bad, that's entirely up to each individual listener to decide. But you can damn sure bet that a laid back rock jam with a total of about 20 words for lyrics would never be released and pushed as hard as this song was. That, for me, is definitely kind of sad.
